My best friend used to have an english Bulldog named Rosi, she was the sweetest dog i ever met who helped me overcome my fear of dogs because she was just such a sweet being. She unfortunately left our world a few years ago thanks to incompetent veterinarians despite over 7 visits within just a few months didn't notice that she had a fatal tumor. I miss that dog, she was the sweetest being out there :(

Keep in mind that because they have trouble breathing, it's recommended (if they're not trained) to walk them in a harness to reduce the pressure on their necks. That combined with the fact that their bodies are so close to the ground, allows them to pull *really* hard; probably the hardest out of all the dogs I've ever walked and I worked in a dog kennel for a few years.

Because of how deformed English Bulldogs are, they can't really kill people/other animals, and it's very, VERY rare for it to happen. How many people have English Bulldogs killed compared to Pitbulls? I'm gonna guess there is a HUGE difference!!!

English Bulldogs are the most adorable abominations before The Lord. An ex and I got one together in 2011. Him and I are still close friends and hang out. Mildred von Wigglebottom, Millie for short, talks to me in snorts telling me how her week has been. She leans back on me like she’s doing a trust fall and looks up at me with love in her eyes. English bulldogs are really cute, but seeing them always makes me a bit sad. They are considered a dangerously unhealthy breed and are susceptible to a significant amount of health problems, including major ones such as breathing, breeding, and birthing, and others such as issues with their eyes, ears, skin, skeletal structure, and ability to cool themselves down. This makes them expensive to buy and own. These poor dogs have been unethically bred so much to "look cute," but it comes with the price of making their lives much more difficult. We've basically literally interfered so much that they now need humans to keep them and their breed going.

You know nothing about BULL dogs!! Maybe the owners are lazy!!??? We had an English bully & he was active & like a puppy until he passed!! It's all about how you raise them . You get what you pay for. You have to research your breeders for the best available. One reason they are expensive is that they have to have cesarean births ,which are expensive & they usually have very small litters. Our bully only had one "cherry eye" & we had the vet take care of it., after that no health problems.

Love whatever breed you want but snort snout dogs suffer because humans can't leave things good. I have a dog with pug in him but he has a longer snout and is extremely active and playful he's prone to being sick because of the pug in him.

Only had my girl for 7 years. She tripped s fell down the stairs and broke her back. We loved her so much and tried to get her through it. She could only lay on our bed and was miserable. We tried water therapy but nothing helped. We sent her to rainbow bridge.

I’ll always have a special place in my heart for English bulldogs. They’re adorable, I had one a few years ago named Gemma who only lived to a year old before suffering a stroke and unfortunately passing away :( I miss how she kicked her legs straight out behind her when she laid down like a little seal or something, and taking naps with her because she loved to chill with me.

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE ENGLISH BULL dogs!!! They are such great family pets!! We had a bully named Ralphie boy, he was an absolute joy!! We also had three other dogs @ the same time & they all got along wonderfully. They were named after the Honeymooners- Ralphie, Norton(a male Pug), Trixie(a female Pug),& Alice( a male Chihauhau)we called him Ali.
