I'm writing my gratitude journalist and for me is the best power things on my life. When I watched you I realized that why I need to try write my gratitude journalist on English... more over I should smile more to myself. It take only 2 or 5 minutes... And the second questions about you told here is so hard to me... but I try a few minutes a day. And I'm trying again and again because I can't give up. The study English is for me the best example and maybe some day I will be speak, read and write enough to communicate with people. There are some days when I understand everything and I have the days when my progress stand the same place but it's doesn't mater. When we love ourselves for what we do, it goes easier.

In the first of answers, I want to say, that two of your questions have one common value from my education in soviet school. The concept "self-care" had only hygienic value, and "self-love" had a negative one. We always had to do important things, where these concepts weren't be included. Now the answer 1: When I'm crazy busy I carve out time for myself or by due to sleep, or by the exclusion of one of the less necessary cases. Answer 2: Today I'm going to go out for a walk and hear an audiobook on earphones. Thank you so much for this lesson.

Hi, I'm from Thailand. This video is made my day! Learning about our self and self love is a small or tiny room in any class. I have much learned vocabularies, sentences and also strategies to cultivate my self love. I'm very impressed. Due to your questions the first one, I prepare an hour in the morning for running everyday. Next one, I choose reading my favourite book today.

Hello Annemarie! Thank you for your useful lessons. I can understand you because you speak clearly and not very fast. I found this lesson helpful. I liked the distinction between self-care and self-love. I agree self-love is a more demanding task and is also rather a process than a simple turn-on. However, I have a question for you. You said we should follow our desires but what if these are not useful for us but self destructive and how can we recognize this kind of our longings?
@Speakconfidentenglish2 жыл бұрын
That is a challenging question, isn't it? I'm not sure if I have an immediate answer for you. Breaking habits and destructive behavior is not easy. It often requires accountability and help/support from others around us. This something I'll be sure to keep thinking about and possibly share in a future lesson.

Could you give us some tips on how to handle intrusion? I mean when a person wants to say something and another person behind makes him/her say something different... does it make sense to you?

Hi Annemarie! What do I do to cultivate self-love? Oh, some many things: I go to gym, I take shower, I brush and floss my teeth, I eat everything I love, I sleep a lot. I clean my apartment myself. As you can see, it's not that complicated. Simple chores from everyday life confirms that we have at least some little self-love. What is really hard is to TURN OVER A NEW LEAF. This expression sounded to me as something like a restart, a new path. And I don't turn over a new leaf everyday, though I think I could use some revolutions in my life in domains such as career and romantic partner. It's not easy to start it all over again. But I can't pull out of this pandemic being the same a person I used to be before. That's it. Thank you!

I here to learn English but I do not allow any one to exploit my qualities and words I used in English to explain some thing ; in purposely ambiguous way. I love you all.
