Wow I love every video you make, that's so much content that I need to repeat it lot of times in order to assimilate and internalize everything. I am seeking a way for improving my English skills on communicating. Unless I am able for understanding almost everything I hear, I find it so difficult for memorizing new information and reproducing them... Sincerely I feel I kind of stuck in a level that I can't go further ( or maybe I am just a little exagerated because it lasts only 3 months since I returned for my studies on English Language, :D)

Amanda, thank you so much for your comment and sharing your struggles with me. We certainly experience highs, lows, and plateaus when developing our language skills. While I was reading your comment, I thought of a few lessons that might help you push forward and experience a breakthrough. I hope one of these will be helpful to you: 1. How to learn and remember new vocabulary: www.speakconfidentenglish.com/learn-and-remember-vocabulary-in-english/ 2. Habits to improve your English and measure your progress: www.speakconfidentenglish.com/habits-to-improve-your-english/ 3. 7 Strategies to stay motivated (even when you don't see progress): www.speakconfidentenglish.com/stay-motivated/ And finally, you might also be interested in my Confident Women Community - a place where women come together to connect, get support, and grow on the English confidence journey. Technique number 3seemed more compelling to me: minimize negative connotations through the use of qualifies. My example: My daughter wrote an essay about Pushkin and asked my opinion. I told her: "This is a good job, although you could decorate it with a large number of examples"

As always no words can express how valuable your lessons are and how gratitude I am. This is another great lesson for the positive communication at work and on teams. We are in the middle of end-year performance review and 360 feedback process now, and this lesson is a huge help to smooth those process. I especially like the strategies of "embracing negative forms of positive words" and "using ' I 'and validating 'you' " . I will implement them more in my day-to-day communication.

Many times, I felt that I could not realize what people said actually were rude until later around, my instincts told me that person wasn't friendly. Or, sometimes I could feel the person wasn't friendly speaking but I didn't know how to respond assertively without obviously offending someone who was rude to me. That has been a huge problem.
