English Grammar: Conditional & Imaginary - IF, WILL, WOULD, WERE

Do you know how to properly use the words IF, WILL, WOULD, and WERE in English? Most of my students just treat all of these words the same way, and don't use them properly... until they take my class. Now that class is made available to you. If you watch it, you will learn.

I think so, some ppl say that " if i were " form is the only one correct and acceptable whereas i did have a word to others and they used " i was " form as so often as " i were" and have said that was equally appropriate and interchangeable

because when writing sentences in an imaginary context, like second conditional for example, it's not the simple past tense what you are using BUT the subjunctive form of the verb, that's why this is the only moment when WERE is used for all of the persons. When you are speaking in the simple past tense, was and were are used as usual. Hope you understand the topic much better right now.
