@SUDARSHANABORA-kw7mt 8 ай бұрын
Do you know what an adjective is? Adjective is a word that modifies or describes a noun or pronoun. In the sentence "I must stop drinking cola because it's unhealthy to drink cola", the noun is " Cola" and the adjective is "Unhealthy". The word unhealthy is telling us about the quality of the noun which is cola.

It is correct when you say: always stop + ing. Because you can use stop + to +verb but it will have another meaning. Stop +ing means give up doing something. In this case no more cola. If you say I stopped to call you, it means you were doing something but you stop for a while to do something else (in this example)

Hearing is the correct answer because the word after the preposition must be "(NOUN,GERUND ,CLAUSE,PRONOUN OR NOUN PHRASE ) the golden rule of preposition is IT IS FOLLOWED BY A NOUN NEVER FOLLOWED BY A VERB " according to this rule "I look forward to hear from you" was wrong because "to" before hear is preposition so we should use gerund "hearing" so "i look forward hearing from you" is the correct answer(note:be careful do not confuse infinitive "to" with preposition "to" for eg: to hear,to sing,to sleep,etc.are infinitivies)
