Great, nice and succinct! I stressed one thing for a student... if you use words from the center column, besides THE or NO, you must make countable nouns plural with S. (It is uncertain when you say it in the video.) Thanks -- this is very helpful :)

Except you can't always use 'some' or 'any' in any context. You would say "There is some information." or "There isn't any information." You **wouldn't** say "There is any information." or "There isn't some information".
@Mia-hc3ob
@Mia-hc3ob 4 жыл бұрын
Yes the same as you wouldn't say ''I don't have any table.''. ''I don't have any table-s.'' would be correct or ''I don't have a table.'' 4:19 Most of the time we use grammar according to what sounds right, we learn what sounds right through talking with people who speak the English language well. Grammar can be naturally picked up without realising it but for someone who is learning a language for the first time, learning something incorrect can be hard to correct later as it becomes a habit to say it like that. My advice: make sure you use several resources when trying to learn something correctly and whichever is used the most will most likely be correct. Stay safe, happy learning everyone. :)

There is an error in the quiz on the web page given above. The question is "Would you like _____ pizza?" and the correct answer is given as "a few." Clearly, either "some" or even "a little" would be correct, but certainly not "a few." Otherwise, nicely done.

Ok teacher. It is good teaching. But there are many nouns that have both countable and uncountable. What about the rule to know them. As an example, "coffee " we have known this word as uncountable but it has countable noun. So we say i had a coffee, two coffees or three coffee. And we says i like coffee as uncountable
