Come with us to the stunning English Lake District for an exiting Summertime lake-lark. We discover an array of antique pottery shards from the 15th century Armathwaite Hall and create a silver necklace from one of the blue & white shards.

Watching all the craftsmanship that goes into all your handmade jewelry gives me an extra appreciation for all things handmade. I should be ashamed for all the times in my life I’ve felt things were too pricey at craft fairs, etc. thank you for showing us how you make all these beautiful items. Wonderful video, as usual!

Ladies, I always enjoy the larking, though my favorite part of this video was watching you Gail, being masterful with your tools , the outcome of which, was no other than the most delectable piece of pottery jewelry I've yet seen. A real tribute to the Japanese designs. Simple and lovely. Music was perfect. My other favorite part was Alex and the Shroos., always making me smile. : )

Dear lovely Northern Mudlarking Ladies. At 13.20 min: That's not just a big leaf, I guess you gals found one of Littlefoots (cousin of Nessie) tree stars (his favourite food)! ;-) After that you additionally created a very beautiful necklace that he would have liked a lot (and because of the long chain he even could've worn it). 👍👌👏 Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health to all of you (including the animals of course).

A very wise decision to show the time and effort that goes into making such a piece (necklace). As an artist, myself, I get folks all the time who are so tainted from today's production-line world and expectant of a cheaply made piece. They really don't understand the work involved for one person to make something so special and handmade. I appreciate your videos and pieces, and certainly the time it takes to create and edit such a wonderful spark of healthy entertainment in today's market of 'streaming violence and drama.' Please stay wholesome. It's quite welcome. Thank you.
