❤️❤️❤️ I just ordered my first M4/3 camera. I shoot professionally, using the Canon eco system. Unfortunately, I always leave my gear at home when on private trips, because it is too heavy. However, it is sad that I had to order the PEN E-P7 in Japan because it is not available on the US market. I hope >OM System< will change that. Size is probably the greatest advantages the M4/3 system has. >OM System< should embrace that and offer the entire lineup in the US.

Great video...I just got my OM System OM-1 for Christmas and am still trying out ALL the features it has to offer !! I have yet to try out the Live Comp feature, but I definitely will soon. At 68 years old, it is amazing all the technology I have seen Olympus come up with. My first SLR was the original OM-1n, bought in 1978 !! Also, I grew up only 12 miles from Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio, so your photo of the Upper Falls was familiar. Thanks, Charlie in Central Ohio

My first -serious- SLR was also the OM-n, later traded for the Nikon N90s, which line continued until the M1 Mark III came out. I wanted a mirrorless and this looked like the best fit for me.

Thanks Mike for this great video. I have been wanting to do this for a while. I'm glad you pointed out the setting differences between the OM-1 and 1-Mk III, 1-Mk II since I own all three of them. One possibly unrelated question. How do you video the back panel of the cameras since it looks like you are looking right through the viewfinder? Thanks.

Mike, Using Live Comp during the day the viewing screen is very dark perfect for night but very hard if not impossible to see during the day is there a setting to make the screen brighter for daytime use.

Sorry Valerie - Misspoken there, when using Live Comp, it will always run noise reduction. Turning it off only works in Live Time and Bulb.

E-M1 Mark III. Thanks for the video. I did pick up a couple of new things. I always watch beginner, experienced, and expert photographer audience videos. I always pick up something new or get reminded of something I knew about, but have yet to use. In Live Comp, I don't get the bit about the first shot being a dark slide. I know I can do that if I want, but the primary method is to use the first frame to establish a base image, such as a foreground, right. Secondly, using Live Comp for water. I hadn't thought of that. But, live Comp will record 'new light'. In a river or stream like that, there wouldn't be any or much 'new light', would there? Michael Connecticut USA

Oops, I get it now. The ND filter produces the movement, not the Live Comp. But, the base image accounts for the exposure, that seems it would not change unless there is 'new light.'

@@MDMiller60 So, Live comp on water...as the water flows and ripples etc., there is light reflecting off of these subtle changes that appear with each capture. With Live Comp initial image capture....when you first press that shutter button and the camera prepares for this feature, a dark slide is captured. Then, on the second press of the shutter, the initial exposure begins. Neat stuff!

Pro Capture is available on the TG-6 but not on any of the M10 models. I don't get that....🙃

Hi Res in RAW or JPG. The JPG will be high res, but the RAW will not increase in megapixels?

The RAW file is also captured in High Resolution when using this feature!
