Hello. Thank you always. Regardless of language, I am often faced these situations like “How and When to Speak Up” at meetings. Moreover, I can't speak English fluently, so this is likely to be a more struggle situation. Scenario 1.)Follow your third suggestion. I ask my boss to give me a couple of time to jump in some during the meeting. In that case, I should help make the agenda for the meeting. Scenario 2.) This follows your first suggestion. I first agree with another opinion and naturally add my opinion to it. "I think it's a good idea, and wouldn't it be better if we added these to it?" I would say. Thank you for reading. If you have the time, would you please point out above my sentences?

Thank you for sharing how you would handle creating opportunities to speak up, Yuko! It certainly is a challenge when we don't feel comfortable but the 2 strategies you outlined can work very well. One question. I saw "I should help make the agenda..." Does your boss typically share the agenda before the meeting? In that can, a better verb to use is "to review" the agenda.

First of all i try to relax myself and calm down and give some essential commitments to that person and share another ways dealing with clients and ways which are very handy and helpful for him and ask another colleagues' opinions to help for him

It is really helpful to listen your KZbin. I know you do a great job with professional manner, but I really want to share my idea, about your camera location room, situation, ( same plants, not interesting bookshelves , too many years,,you need to also entertain , concern visually for your listener, viewer. ( it doesn’t match with your lecture,,,) Everybody is very much sensitive at visual. If you change your backdrop, just make simple, it would be more effective with your lecture, Just check your video last for several years

You are an awesome person. You are my role model. I have also started a KZbin channel for HR professionals. I love the text effects in your videos too. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me which editing tool you use for texting throughout the video ?

Hi, I know how to speak English using only simple words or phrases, but when I hear someone use a specific word / sentence, I really like it. The problem is I do not know how to use it?

Thank you for such precious lesson, Anne Marie. In scenario 1, I would probably raise up my hand and try to be as polite as I could in sharing my different point of view. I would say something like "While I totally agree with what you were mentioning about the first topic, I do have a different opinion on your last thoughts". When it comes to scenario 2, I would probably try to "book" a space for adding my thoughts asking my boss for scheduling my contribute.

Excellent, Francesco! I really like the example sentence you shared for scenario 1. Well said!
