woah. that's weird. the german and US versions of this sketch have the same change. in the UK version one of them has issues with correct punctuation and puts exclamation points at the end of sentences where there shouldn't be any. in the US and German version that character was changed to have issues with metaphors... I wonder how that happened, I thought all localised versions are based on the same original UK scripts.

I'm a English learner. I put the wrong idioms on google, then I got the right, didn't I? He actually means "Spell to save my life." but obviously his spelling makes him say "spill" not "spell" and "loaf" not "life". Hoped that helped. :)
