All of us except Bernard Edwards is what you meant to say. Owing to this unnecessary war which could easily have been avoided, i have to pay a lot more for nearly everything, particularly fuel and power. The British Army, already ridiculously weak, has been emasculated in order to provide funds and weapons to Ukraine, and all because Zelensky refused to negotiate! Finland thinks we will come to their aid if Russia attacks. Think again, Finland, it will be YOU protecting US, not the other way around! You dont realise how weak our armed forces are, including the RAF and Navy. Boris is an expert bluffer and has fooled you. To see the state of our airforce, watch KZbin vids by Fast Jet Performance.

Timothy, I'm also an American living in Kherson. I didn't stay the whole time under occupation as you did, I escaped through the front line and orc block posts in spring. I'm so glad to see that you & family made it through the entire time of occupation safely. It was extremely dangerous there for US citizens - because of course, the orcs had huge animosity towards Americans. I know of at least three who were kidnapped/disappeared. One guy, Suedi, remains in prison in Donetsk. Main thing, Kherson is liberated thanks to ZSU and our heroes. These hardships, including terrorists shelling the city now, we'll get through. Let's meet for a celebration drink after the total victory! Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

There is an article, look it up. There he says he managed eventually to send his ladies away, while he himself stayed. He would shop only in one particular store, where a lady, who knew him, didn't blow his cover. He pretended to have lost his passport, and claimed be a different nationality than American. His wife's friends would bring him food as well. Basically he kept it low profile.

"This war is not a war against Ukraine! This war is against those who came to the land of Russia from the West and brought their poisoned ideology that Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians - these are different people! Since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, Russian troops have destroyed 7,352 units of military automotive special equipment, 3,620 field artillery and mortars, 902 multiple rocket launchers, 6813 armored vehicles, 390 anti-aircraft missile systems, 2,562 drones, 333 aircraft and 177 helicopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Several thousand mercenaries from Poland, England, the USA, Romania, Canada, Georgia have already been destroyed. The situation is very reminiscent of World War 2 and Napoleon's war against Russia, when the whole of Europe fought and worked for fascist Germany, the Napoleonic army. Now there's Sasha and Canada. I was thinking about this the other day (off topic I am afraid) - I never hear people being referred to as 'English American' even though we originally formed the core of the population, and they use our language. There must be more Americans of English descent than almost anything else, but I always hear about Italian Americans, Irish Americans, African Americans instead. Perhaps the British were there so long ago they are considered native now. French American also seems to be rare but there should be loads.
@jetv1471
@jetv1471 Жыл бұрын
I actually think the number of folks in USA that can trace ancestry to early settlers is a minority . Most the immigrants that arrived had very very large families . Italian mother in law from family of 9 ; Croatian father in law from family of 10… Especially the immigrants of catholic faith . I know a very very small percentage of my contacts are NOT from some immigration.
@gothenmosph5151
@gothenmosph5151 Жыл бұрын
I don't think any of these groups look at themselves as not being natives, it's just a way they delineate themselves. I assume it has to do with more recent influx of immigration from these areas and how they formed more ethnic enclaves rather than the group of early settlers for a couple hundred years who just spread out and weren't distinctive because they were simply the dominant culture everyone else adopted to. I believe Germans are the most common ancestry origin for Americans although I imagine WW2 probably stopped people from using the term 'German American' any longer.

What I'd like to see and get others to help promote is an idea where Ukraine sends missiles at every military structure in Crimea, the Donbas, the access roads and bridges to Crimea, and all the Russian infrastructure feeding their war-effort within some reasonable distance, like 100 km, from the Ukraine border inside Russia. At least 1 missile for every missile fired by Russia at Ukraine civilians and civilian infrastructure, not that hits, but fired. Ukraine doesn't have such weaponry, but the rest of the world could and should supply Ukraine with it immediately.

World War III Has Begun; How It Unfolds Depends on Us We think of the Russia-Ukraine war as a local conflict, but it is much more than that; it is a global war on multiple fronts. The war is not only a military conflict; it is also an economic war of attrition. With skyrocketing gas prices and shortage of staples, people all over the world are feeling the consequences of the war. This war is transforming the entire modus operandi of humanity. Since the dawn of time, we have been accustomed to living by the motto, “survival of the fittest.” By and large, the rule was that the strong determined the rules, and the rules were often abusive toward the weak. Now, it seems like a new mindset has set in: Wanting something and being strong enough to take it does not mean that the world will accept it. The war, therefore, is being fought on the inside no less, and perhaps more than on the outside. Our very makeup is changing from abusive to cooperative, from narcissistic to altruistic. It hurts, and it will not happen without a struggle, but it is irreversible. This is the path of our evolution toward the purpose of our creation-to encompass within us all of creation. To do that, we must come to care for it, just as a mother encompasses her child through her maternal love. The struggle to transition from our current uncaring and mean approach to all creations but ourselves, into wise and compassionate beings is called “the war of Gog and Magog” or Armageddon. Since the war is about our inner makeup, we can fight it within us. If we object to struggling with ourselves over who will rule-the ego or love-the physical reality will force us to choose love nonetheless. However, it will do so by hurting us in a very physical way. The war in Eastern Europe is nothing compared to what we might have to endure if we resist the process. The horrific descriptions of our sages and prophets hint at it, and we would not want to live through it. Alternatively, we can fight this war within us without firing a single bullet. The choice is in our hands. All we need is to continue in the same direction that nature is already leading us: toward connection. If we make an effort to care for one another, even though initially we don’t, then we are moving in the right direction. If we try to resolve conflicts not with guns or even legal battles, but by strengthening the care and friendship between us, then we are saving lives and sparing torments from countless people. In conclusion, let us try to rise above the hatred and see the human on the other side, who suffers too. Let us think that this war was given to us so we would think about each other more than we have so far. After all, were it not for this war, we would not notice one another. Now that it is here, we are no longer indifferent. Although our feelings our currently negative, now that we are aware of them, we can work on them together and turn them around. These are the wars of the Messiah who moshech [Hebrew: pulls] us out of the ego, and into mutual love.

We should seek to challenge the global conflicts, not to an arms race, but to a peace race- -to advance together step by step, stage by stage, until general and complete disarmament has been achieved. Until we no longer live under a nuclear sword, hanging by the slenderest of threads, capable of being cut at any moment by accident or miscalculation or by madness. (John F. Kennedy, 1961)
