Thanks for your wonderful reaction to Forestella again! I really appreciate your certification about how good their Zulu was, as it's very rare to find someone even understanding Zulu. However even though I understand no Zulu I can sing along the Zulu part in their concert tho lol. JTBC, one of Korean cable broadcast channels, made an audition show titled Phantom Singer (I'll say PS) to make a quartet like il Divo from Korea. Forestella is PS 2nd season's winner. During serious covid period almost every concert was canceled so JTBC could invite all the PS groups to the show Phantom Singer All Stars (I'll say PSAS) and filmed it with online audience. There were only a few celeb guests and the competitors on the site. Forestella made this Shape of you in various languages because they wanted the audience to feel of a world trip vibe, hard to go due to covid situation at that time. This performance got a great hit, Mamacita stayed top trending word at Korean Twitter till the next night since aired. It seems like that Forestella got the inspiration from Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You (Latin Remix) Ft Zion & Lennox, Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You (Cover by Ndlovu Youth Choir and Grammy-winning flutist Wouter Kellerman), as their references of Spanish & Zulu. There's a fan-made video titled Mamacita Syndrome you can see how they started their practice and themselves talking about this video. It'll be interesting to check!

I love your reaction to forestella. I was so happy when you were impressed with them singing in Zulu. I Hope you keep reacting to them. They always try something new and awesome. Recognizing the Zulu made this reaction extra special. Usually most of the reactions end with what's that, it's not Spanish? asking viewers to provide the info and the reaction kind of fizzles out. For those of us who don't have a clue about Zulu, it's nice to get a reaction and some explanation about that part of the song in some detail. Enjoyed this.

I really like your choices of words, it shows why your name is The WordSmith. I'd say more about Phantom Singer All Stars (I'll say PSAS) and I recommend you Forestella's version of Time in a bottle as your next reaction to Forestella because you've reacted to 2 of their PSAS performances already. I wanna see how you describe their Time in a bottle in your words so badly. All the finalists PS groups from 3 seasons were invited and each round had a specific themes. Each season has 3 final groups and all the final 9 groups competed in PSAS but in more festive vibe as there was no elimination. The celebrity guests and online audience voted to anyone they liked. They competed on the themes given and sometimes competed as solo, as member-changed quartet or duet in this show. There were 7 rounds with different themes. But one theme was solo performance (Balada de Trompeta by Cho MinGyu was stunning indeed) representing the group, and one theme was seasons' match (Kang HyungHo and Bae DooHoon rocked Love Runs Out with Zo HyungGyun & Han Tain). So each group had 5 songs as a whole group. The theme for the 1st round was making stage representing the own originality of themselves and they sang Time in a bottle. They surprised me again as always. Please note the huge clock behind was inside out in their Time in a bottle stage. Forestella sang Time in a bottle, Je suis malade, Shape of you, 달팽이 a Snail, Inner Universe as a whole group in PSAS. (in the chronomical order) They did such a great job on every single one. They sang in 7 language in total, in English, French, Spanish, Zulu, Korean, Russian, and Latin.

Great video, thank you for the reaction! I think you’re confusing Mingyu the light tenor and Hyungho the countertenor. The countertenor was the first one to sing and the light tenor is the first to sing in spanish. 😊
