Hola, otra vez.... a penas vi tu primera reacción You Tube me recomendó otra. Seguiremos viendo tu reacciones. Tu aporte educativo es fantástico!!!!! Un abrazo grande des Chile 🇨🇱 ❤❤❤❤

It's great that you like the "FORESTELLA genre". They don't want to be pigeonholed and mix genres and styles in an experimental, ambitious way, with very creative arrangements. Each of their refreshing new interpretations of a cover or their originals is always surprising. The range of their musical spectrum (from excellent classical repertoire - they are originally a classical crossover-vocal group - to reggaeton and rock/metal) is enormous. Their unique timbres, vocal ranges and abilyties and, last but not least, their incredible stage presence make each of their performances a special pleasure.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I completely agree-Forestella's ability to blend genres and push creative boundaries is truly impressive. Their experimental approach keeps their music fresh and exciting, and it's always a delight to hear how they reinterpret both covers and their original pieces. The breadth of their musical spectrum is remarkable, transitioning seamlessly from classical to reggaeton and rock/metal. Each member brings their own unique timbre and vocal range, contributing to the group's overall dynamic. Their stage presence indeed adds an extra layer of enjoyment to every performance, making each experience memorable. I’m excited to continue exploring their music and seeing how they surprise us next! Thanks for your insightful comment! 🌟🎶

They have three different musical backgrounds and ALL have a vastly expanded vocal range. - Cho MinGyu (classical tenor leggero - with 3 years of opera experience) - Kang HyungHo aka PITTA (rock singer - he was a chemical engineer until the group was founded) - the non classic "countertenor" with extremely well-developed head voice who effortlessly sings entire songs in soprano) - Ko WooRim (classical basso profundo - and he SINGS in even deeper tones) - Bae DooHoon (musical actor/singer) - with years of experience in musicals, pop and traditional music) Each of them is an excellent soloist with a distinctive timbre, but together they are a unique combination of voices and pure magic.

You’ve captured the essence of Forestella perfectly! Their diverse musical backgrounds contribute significantly to their distinct sound. Each member brings something unique to the table: - Cho MinGyu adds a classical finesse with his tenor leggero voice, showcasing his opera experience beautifully. - Kang HyungHo (PITTA) is truly a standout with his rock background and impressive countertenor abilities. His capacity to sing entire songs in a soprano range is amazing! - Ko WooRim anchors the group with his deep bass tones, bringing a rich depth that perfectly complements the higher registers. - Bae DooHoon rounds out the quartet with his extensive experience in musical theater and pop, adding versatility and flair. Together, they create a harmonious blend that is both powerful and enchanting. It’s no wonder their performances feel like pure magic! Their ability to showcase their individual talents while harmonizing seamlessly is what makes them so special. Thanks for sharing such insightful details about them! 🎤✨

I also love their unique way of engaging in and out of the harmony! You can see they do similar things in If I leave (Korean song, better check first the original and the translation for lyrics to enjoy full). Or try another their unique skill of counterpoint singing with Shape of you and Champions (Korean song as well, they mash-up intro part from UEFA Champions League theme tho.) You can hear 3 different lyrics at a time, but not in a messy way. Or enjoy Forestella as good storytellers, watch Time in a bottle. You can experience an emotional roller-coaster. Be aware the clock face in the background was reversed! It will be inspiring stories about Time in a bottle. (Please blur the video to avoid copyright block!) Love your reaction because I learn a lot about them . One of my favorite performance. Again I encouraged you to listen also their originals . If you love epic, I suggest you White night . But my favorite is clearly snow globe , and the poet in you is going to love the mv and the song . I’m also writing poesy , so I enjoy a lot your approach of theirs harmonies . I love each of them a lot Ko Woorim for his deepest rich tone and the incredible control of his voice Kang Hyung Ho for his wild range ( do you know that our counter tenor is also a rocker name Pitta? , you must hear his song Nation, very epic, and he is also a guitarist and the main composer of snow globe) this man is a natural gifted singer with no training at his debut. Very very talented. Cho Mingyu , the leader and the tenor is an incredible cultivate stratège, a very clever one who put the group together . His tone is so beautiful. And my favorite because he is the king of emotion Bae Doohoon , the one tenor who you love the voice. He is a barytone and a musical actor, he have a very beautiful vibrato and a very powerful voice All of them have a lot of solo Love Arabian nights and automn leaves for Woorim The phantom of the opera ( crazy performance) for our countertenor Gravity and say something for Bae Doohoon Cho Mingyu and his balad para un loco Enjoy your journey

As a SoopByeol, I can feel your love for Forestella. Please correct some errors and typos on the names of 조민규 Cho MinGyu (officially written as Cho Mingyu in their albums, I've been accenting Korean syllables) and 배두훈 Bae DooHoon (officially Bae Doohoon). BTW the correct song title Bae DooHoon sang was Defying Gravity. I like it too. And MinGyu's solo...I couldn't figure out what song you thought of. As a quartet, Forestella sang Maldita sea mi suerte in Spanish, Je suis Malade in French...but seems those are not the song you were to recommend. I'm guessing it was the same as my favorite solo performance from MinGyu, la Balada para un Loco in Spanish.

@@TheWordSmith365 Thanks It looks like you definitely know your Forestella! To know is to love though. I truly think they are the best vocal artists. The a cappella bands are great, but just don't have the same strong classical foundation. I also don't think their arrangements are as innovative - although clearly good. In particular, I don't think any of them use their basses as well, even Voiceplay with the excellent Geoff. Dimash is technically stunning with great (and varied) tones. Then there's his unbelievable range. BUT I prefer Forestella's interpretations and Forestella's range is stunning in its own right, complete with the harmonies that cannot be matched. Their music is to die for, they sing to my soul, which Dimash rarely does - except for Ikanaide.

Absolutely, Forestella’s versatility is nothing short of remarkable! Their ability to navigate through such a diverse range of genres and styles is what makes their performances stand out. You’ve highlighted some incredible songs that truly showcase their talent. Queen’s hits, especially "Bohemian Rhapsody," are anthems that they elevate with their unique harmony and emotional intensity. "Lazenca, Save Us" is indeed an epic piece that blends rock elements with operatic flair, making it a thrilling listen. It’s so fascinating how they incorporate animal sounds in "Unwritten Legend," bringing an element of theatricality inspired by *The Lion King*. "Nella Fantasia" and "Hijo de la Luna" are equally captivating; they really emphasize the group's ability to convey deep emotion through their voices. "Sound of Silence" is haunting in its beauty, and their rendition of "Smooth Criminal" brilliantly reinterprets a classic in a way only they can.
