😎 Here is a challenge for you: Watch the video again tomorrow, and try to repeat each word as I say it. This will really help you with your pronunciation and also help you to remember all the words! You can do it! 😎

Hey Bob, thank you for the great videos. I'm an immigrant. People here always think I was born here because of my accent. I learnt it by watching videos and movies so I always had a western accent even back home. My problem here is, I live by myself so I don't eat out at restaurants cause of two reasons. 1. I don't have much friends here 2. In an attempt to save money. But occasionally when I try to eat out with my colleagues I struggle a lot to choose food. I don't know what to order or how. I saw a video of you on placing orders. I'd be glad if you can do similar ones in popular go to places here like the Tim Hortons, Popeyes etc ☺️ thanks

For example: firstly: stuff and staff, secondly: think and thing or thin, it is really difficult to understand without context🤪🤔

You mentioned just a few from the thousands of similar-sounding words from English. In context, you can also exchange deer/dear with beer. And if someone can just see your silhouette quickly, he can get that impression of you that you are bald - not only bold. Thanks for the lesson!

If you ask me there are a lot of similar words in every language. It's really difficult for beginners. For example in french there are the verbs: attendre, entendre, etendre, eteindre, atteindre. When i started to study the french, it was impossible to distinguish that. But now it's ok. So, don't worry)) more you listen to natif speakers, more you know to distinguish the similar words and sounds

Thank you, teacher Bob for discussing some words that almost sound the same. It's a little bit confusing to hear, say, and write especially if someone is not exposed to the English language. Sometimes, I feel and experience in an actual conversation that's why I enjoyed watching your informative topic not only today but every lesson that you already uploaded. Keep going to teach us. You're the best, sir💪👏.
