A similar theme with the album was in the skit "Jerzyk dzisiaj nie pije" (Jerzyk isn't drinking today), where they argued whether they would drink pure or colored vodka. Ultimately, they came to the conclusion that the only good colors are TV sets and albums about the Tatra Mountains.

Have you seen the Dudek cabaret skit? titled " Hydraulik " ? it's an old, non-existent cabaret, but very cool, from the times of socialism in Poland, in a funny way it shows socialist ideology, how the working class was supposed to rule.

I'd always thought the pattern about a husband/boyfriend returning early to find his wife/girlfriend with her lover a bit too cliche to still be true in this day and age... until it happened to two of my friends within the span of a few months. Luckily, neither of them was married so they just ended those relationships on the spot without having to go through the hell of divorce.

ok.... so...im starting write or /I'll start writing now...:)hmm, it reminded me of Jack and Rose while watching this cabaret... She had a fiance, but despite this, their love was so strong that they gave in to it. And I never criticized her or him for it... it never occurred to me straight to the head....
@Mordring6 ай бұрын
Correct me if I'm wrong as I haven't watched Titanic in over a decade (close to 2 actually), but wasn't Rose's engagement arranged simply to save her family from financial troubles? As in, she didn't really love her fiance and was just being pushed to marry him by the family? If that was the case, I can't really blame her for following her heart (though arguably the thing with Jack was more of a lust/curiosity moment than real love too). Still sucks for the fiance, but hey, people should never be forced to marry, especially someone they have no real fellings for.
@Evelyn_Anne_Boleyn6 ай бұрын
it's not literally said in the movie, but it seemed like her engagement was so that her mom and she wouldn't have to be poor (that Cal was a rich man), and her mother once in the movie even said "your father left us nothing apart from debts and a good name, do you want me to be a washerwoman?" that's what she asked when she found out that Rose was dating Jack....poor Rose, those were the times when you couldn't choose who you wanted to be with, in most of them were marriages arranged for profit... and she was only 17 years old and probably fell in love for the first time in her life (besides, when you're young, you're stupid and impulsive, right?).... well... , I deeply believe that Jack and Rose had true love :) She proved it by the fact that she didn't care that he was poor, and he proved it by giving his life for her, and she also proved it because kept her promise that she would live...she would have a husband and children (she did it for him because she promised him so)... and she didn't have to do it, after all, when she was lying on that door, she wanted to die.... but she fought for her life out of love for him, It's true love for me, God...

there is such a thing as physical infatuation (desire for someone)... there is also constant attachment and feeling... it is a lasting relationship, a habit, but also loving this person, longing for him... and is there love like in the movies? is there such a thing? really in this world?... that is the question... if it is in the heads of film producers, it must come from somewhere... a love that cannot be explained, in spite of everyone and everything... I guess true love is when we don't plan it, when it just happens and we don't know why, when everything and everyone is against this love, and it persists... and is so strong that it is impossible to live. ....i.e. Infatuation and attachment in a committed relationship are both not true love? so what is true love? when you haven't experienced anything with someone?... and you love him... when you don't know him but you love him? or maybe you don't even like him, but you love him! when you have no reason to love that person and you love him anyway! when you give up yourself and your life... you give up your pleasures, you give up yourself for the other person.... is that when true love is? ehhh I like to think and philosophize... .... I just like when my brain thinks
@Evelyn_Anne_Boleyn6 ай бұрын
if God is love, so are we, or maybe only on earth there are different types of love (mother's love for a child, child's love for a parent and love for a woman/man)... but in general its one great love that unites us all....
