Malicki great guy. A great combination of cabaret, classical music and science in one. One of the better entertainments of recent years

Waldemar Malicki prepares his orchestra's performances in just such an entertaining way to introduce classical music to the younger generation, but also to promote this kind of music. It's such a different way to showcase classical music - his musicians are hilarious, and he also works with many (opera) singers, comedians, stand-ups, and actors. It's always very fun during their performances.

They were really great. It's such a pity they don't make it anymore. The concept of their concerts is a bit similar to Andreu Rieu, a Dutch (coming from Maastricht) violinist and conductor, who - with his orchestra and his concerts - is known worldwide and also quite popular and liked in Poland. It should be more of such people.

You should definitely watch "Wały Jagiellońskie". This band was extremely popular in the 70's and 80's and every song was a hit. I especially recommend "Wars wita" and "Ciebie brak".

I will also add that I don't know what it's like in England, but in my city there are a lot of discos with cool music, e.g. 80s and 90s, or there are clubs where mainly 50-year-olds go... not everywhere has shitty music... and there are many places where there are no drug addicts and bare butts...... a 'massacre' as last Saturday rarely happens, we were just unlucky... haha, now everyone laughs at it... then it was terrible, but now hahahahahaha, everyone laughs at it... e.g. the german flew and hit the champagne that was on the table with his face because a some Polak threw him at the speed of the light.You can imagine what it was like, after all, if it had been recorded and uploaded to YT it would have been the funniest video of the year...🤣

Are you curious about Polish culture? I'll tell you a little about it... we Poles are Slavs, so like all Slavs, we love and can dance, sing, and unfortunately also drink a lot (no need to cheat;)... we have such a mentality that we can argue terribly and then we quickly reconcile, often someone's worst enemy becomes someone's best friend :) for example guys can beat each other up badly and the next day they are best friends.... we are not offended by death like the germans, we forget and forgive easily :) we are hospitable, family-oriented, we also visit each other often at home without any notice,JUST CHILL!, without prior arrangements,\ and it's ok in Poland. I know that abroad, for example in Germany, if someone does this, then will not be allowed into the house ( have to make an appointment in advance by phone, even if they are your parents)... and in addition, after the wedding, we call our in-laws "mom" and "dad", not by name... this is a sign of a deep respect for our spouse's parents,of course there is no compulsion to do so... but most people talk this way

Sometimes you don't have to do nothing to make classical music fun. Like military march "Entry of the Gladiators" by J. Fucik. Sometimes it's just an amazing preference like Andris Nelsons conducting Dvorak's "From the new world". But the one that introduced me the most classical tunes was Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry and other Looney Toons characters.

I don't like stupid music like trance, techno or rap. I like songs from the 80s and 90s the most, because they're fun to dance to., they have a nice rhythm and you can really dance and not only "move your head as if you were high", And classical music is my second love, I play the piano myself.

I don't know... if "lower" culture aspire high it's ok (like rap music with orchestra) but if you flip sides it's dumb or sometimes grotesque. Don't like such entertainment. "gummy bear"... for fuck sake... years of music studies...
