I don't get why Hololive members feel the need to add an unhealthy amount of exclamation points whenever they're writing stuff in English. I've seen this first with Aqua, then Pekora, then Subaru. Is this something that a lot of Japanese idols happen to do?

Yeah? They do the same thing when they write in Japanese. But since it's not a formal part of Japanese writing, there aren't any hard and fast rules to using exclamation marks, so they get spammed a lot to emphasize excitement. You see it on twitter and in video titles all the time, along with "?!"

I assume you mean Shigure Ui's loli punishment streams. So Ui and Kenmochi Touya played each other in tetris and Ui lost both times.
