C101 should've crashed and burned on the first pass. That dmg model is indeed pretty broken. But tbh so are many others atm, incl. that of the MiG-15. But yea, it's really disheartening when you've set up a good ambush and get good hits, only to see the guy get away basically unaffected.

Soo i'm the only one who doesn't count "manuver kills"? I mean it's not my doing if the guy rips his wings, it's his lack of experience, and not related to my skills or actual bfm effort so why should i reward myself. It's just my opinion on the matter, just seems odd to me.

It's half joke and half real. It is half real because if you pressure enough and they foul up it's considered a maneuver kill. Kn reality it is just inexperience.

To be fair, a single 37mm would decimate, let alone a few 23's. If that was you, you did great evasive. If those first 3x F-5's had gotten there a bit sooner and stayed engaged it could have been a different story.

They really need to limit that superwide zoom view..its awfull..thats why I use slow zoom out and never go full wide. The distorsion of pic is insane.

If you are using an axis for the zoom (when I played 2d; I play strictly VR now so its only a toggle; I would put it on the Incr->Decr lever on the warthog throttle) you can limit the travel on either end by making it a slider axis and changing deadzone, or make a custom curve out of it.

Its not broken, same design as every other DM. Doesn't help that Mr Admin here kept hitting the same spot after it was already in its damaged state... He also didnt hit my tail at all, just lower aft fuselage, so I didnt lose my empennage thankfully.
