Perhaps the first song in this raag is by Raghavan master in the film "Koodappirappu" written by Vayalar and sung by M.L. Vasanthakumari, "Manivarnnane innu njan kaandu sakhi" then came the song "Ithumaathra mmithumathram ormmavenam" sung. by P Leela film. "Ninamaninja Kalpaaadukal" music Bbaburaj, deserved mention.
