Some time ago I was asking myself the first question, as to how many enlightened people there are on Planet Earth, then I told myself, it doesn't matter, work on yourself. But it's interesting to know anyway, and the answer from this Guruji did surprise me. The standard is very high. And thanks to the interviewer for asking so many more questions which have revealed so much more information.

There are many enligtened beings , some choose to be in silence, hidden away from the society. Some are in the society but most of them never display , the are very unassuming . They behave just like another person. Those who have eyes to see them, will see.

@@mohanlalrampersad490 The purpose of becoming enlightened is to transcend the cycle of birth and death. Once you become aware that aspect in you which is giving life to the body and when it leaves it is called a dead body. So body is temporary , soul is eternal. i said some of those who are enlightened choose to remain in silence, hence they stay away from the society because of the gap in frequency. some of them are not even aware of their body, they are completely reveling in supreme conciousness.

@@mohanlalrampersad490 Its neither feeling nor experience as a enlightened person clearly knows that he/she is alone in entire universe and everything thing that is seen is actually part of it. He/she sees his own body as just miniscule part of the whole. Like we do not feel or experience our internal organs, he/she does not actually feel anything other that his/her own blisfull existence. Why should one break cycle of birth and death? What is born and dies is the body and enlightened person is way beyond it already, so no question of birth and death. Physical body is of no significance at all for such person. This life - Well, people are after happiness and do various things which results in what they consider as happiness. But life is full of ups and downs and even billionares are not really happy all the time. Happiness comes only in bits lasting for few days/months or years, but not entire lifetime without any gaps. Enlightenment person is constant delightful state which never changes so even the most happy feeling for normal folks feel like nothing. So why should that person be borhterd about nice food etc. Why would someone having lifetime pass of disneyland play in a muddy park.

I guess gautama buddha is an expection because he was said to have many siddhis. So he must be more than just awakend or am i missing something? He performed many miracles according to the to the scriptures. He was said to be all knowing

The first scriptures about Buddha were written 200 years after his death. As with everything that cannot be verified as fact, the writers of these scriptures might have been prone to hyperbole and exaggeration. Don't believe everything you read. There's a funny thing about miraculous powers, and that is that after the invention of the video camera, nobody claims to exhibit miraculous powers anymore. That's the real miracle which must be investigated.

Enlightenment is not something to achieve through striving at one discipline or another. The more one does that, the more enlightenment eludes the seeker! Acceptance is the "Key". At one's deepest level is where one will discover this "Key"! Seeking outside one's Self is vanity! Seek "Within" and you shall find. Ask "Within" and it shall be given unto you. This type of info is kind of discouraging. Imagine going to a college where there are millions of students and only a handfull get to graduate. And then, when some of them graduate, they die immediately afterwards. I am wondering what in the world keeps spiritual seekers (including myself) to strive at all? Its such a small chance (like winning the lottery, with a realistic chance for death), I am wondering is it worth it if it is going to happen anyway in some lifetime. Is it the master carrot?

3141 nothing lasts for too long. We are alive so do what it takes to keep this body healthy until the time for the body to stop functioning. Being unhealthy is not a good state to be in. Just look at "sadhguru" , claims to be helping millions of people to be healthy and live a "good" life. At 68 or 69 which I consider young, his brain is damaged, his belly is way bigger than it should be for his age and now he is recuperating in America. Why is he in America? Because he has money.

In a translation by Normandi Ellis from 1989 Book of coming Forth by Day, Awakening Osiris, in one of the chapters it is said that someone graduating in life through successful incarnations can feel like eternity for the graduating soul but in the grand scheme of things it happens so quickly the progress of man to live with Gods, to become one. 😊💜💙💚💛🧡❤️

this number is severely underestimated. If only 0.5% of people are enlightened, thats still 40 million enlightened beings. If 0.05% are enlightened, its 4 million. If 0.005% its 400,000. The number hes talking about is 0.0000000005% which is ridiculous. As in......there are far too many "seekers", wholeheartedly seeking truth, for that to be the accurate number. I like to think its 144,000, simply because alot of scriptures cite this number.

@@adamant8501 Enlightenment is birth of the Soul. It is taken up and out of the body, up and out of God into the Kingdom of Heaven. The gateway is a large Lotus flower, and the Soul comes up through the center and is carried across the gate petals then up to the lampstand that Soul liberated by, eg a Wheel for a Buddha, Menorah for A Jew, and a silver Latin Cross for a Christ, et. There are seven lampstands that project God in total. The others are Om, Yin-yang the Swastika and the Tetragrammaton Pentagram. The Soul is then returned to the host where it consumes the host consciousness. Death is instantaneous. However, Insight is where the host awakens the Soul, and the host consciousness is consumed. This can be done by anyone. The reason its one only, is there can only be one teacher. Adam ant had two drummers. Stand and deliver! lol. I hope that helps.
