Big wall of text incoming, brace yourself: I love this. I just wanted to say that you are the pianist that inspired me to study piano professionally almost 10 years ago. Your covers made me think that I wanted to play like that and that type of music for life. I am now doing my masters degree in performance and I'm a college professor and I still watch a lot of your videos religiously. I steal ideas from your arrangements and have had moments of epiphany regarding technique watching your hands play. I don't know why I haven't write this comment before. Maybe I didnt want to come across as a fangirl, but I totally am haha. I have showed your vids to all my friends we all think you are an incredible musician and the best regarding BGM arrangements for piano. I hope the flame that keeps your artistic pursuits going never extinguish and you keep inspiring more people just like me. Hope we make music one day!

This still has the best piano rendition I've ever heard of Waterfall, seriously incredible, and then following it up with such a lovely arrangement of Lower Maradia to boot! This is so good.

Excellent job my friend. The first two songs had me smile, lots of good memories. But when Maridia's theme started, I melted into a little puddle of joy. Very nice.

Cool, nice that you checked it out! Thank you. These pieces mean a lot to me, and Maridia was always one of my favorites from the Super Metroid soundtrack. Such a beautiful composition. Cheers!

Great choices, and fantastic job playing them. I could only ever pound upon the keys like a slobbering, club-handed barbarian so to hear graceful elegance like this is always impressive to me

I gotta admit that the title made me wonder how it would work, but that transition from the first song to the next was so seamless, so ephemeral; just blew me away. Your skill at harmonizing keys together on and in your arrangements producing such a rich depth of sound and emotion without overdoing it is perhaps second to none in this world. If there is someone better at it, I certainly have not heard them. Thank you for providing this amazing piece. It is a solace for my mind. The medley feels like it comes together into this alluring story all it's own like something one of the past great pianists would make. Truly magnificent from beginning to end.

Hey, thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate that you took the time to comment and to write this. This medley took a lot of work, and looking back, I always felt like, compared to a lot of my other videos, this one went under and it felt like it was overlooked in a sense, and not many people looked behind it to find out what's hidden beneath it. So it means a lot to me to get comments like these because it makes me feel like the work was not in vain. Thank you, be well and stay healthy.

@@Verdegrand It's my pleasure. I know very well personally what you mean by that, having such efforts going seemingly unnoticed by most, so it really brings me some joy to know I could to do that for you especially considering how much I have enjoyed your work over the years. It's therapeutic in a way. Thank you, and likewise, be well and stay healthy.

Wow. Wasn't expecting part of Assault on Precinct 13 to be in a mostly video game focused video but it's a welcome surprise. Good movie, a classic.

Thank you for commenting, means a lot to me when people watch this video as it was a huge amount of work. And yes, I love Carpenter's early movie, and that particular track always stuck with me over the years. I didn't even watch the remake 🤣 Cheers!

@@Verdegrand Honestly glad to see you are still active after all these years! I remember back when I was in college listening to the Jets n Guns shop music and Cave Story Moonsong covers. Your stuff has always been on a Playlist for me.

@@Sturmdude Again, thank you for saying that, means a lot to hear it, really. I remember recording those two videos in particular ;) I'm currently trying to learn music production and want to do electronic music related stuff. Will do that with a new artist name and then most likely also have a Patreon account and so on. Otherwise I'm still struggling for an improvement of my hands which are still not good. But I remain in good spirits about it. It's comments like yours that help a lot with keeping me going, so thank you again. Cheers!

Waterfall is an underappreciated track, I think. Translates well to piano but I think it would translate well to a lot of different things. Probably choral, as well.
