Since they changed mg42 nest to mg34 I rarely use them due to worse angles. Back in the day I won Vysokovo axis by building mg on the second floor. I cut off all reinforcements from 3 cap points and won the game with 0 deaths. Sweet memories.

Another great spot for the aa gun is the beach assault map for normandy with the small tower overlooking the beach, with one bunker on the beach as the first point. As a defender, you can build a aa gun on the hill by the tower on a slight angle, allowing you to scrape enemies off the top of the bunker. This is great, since usually the reason the defenders lose that first point is because all the allies camp out on top of the bunker.

I take it you can only have 1 hammer in your engineer squad cause I'm not seeing it anywhere in logistics

How do I build a machine gun nest?

the MG nest is a technology unlock in the Engineer-2 squad. usually around level 23 available. the engineer 1 squad can only build AA and AT, but not MG

Now anti air craft gun can only shoot upwards not horizontally in a perfect way in which you can shoot he enemy.

Btw, how do you distribute mines among the squad? I have ap on everyone. At drain stamina quicker and are usually useless, but sometimes are needed badly.

if you have only 2 mines per squad, give one AP to the engineer leading the squad and 1 AT mine to either an AT gunner or to the last soldier in the squad (usually a radioman)

besides that i give everyone else 1 AP mine, so only 1 AT mine per squad
