Ennerdale Water & Ennerdale Bridge, Lake District

Ennerdale Water is on the Westerly side of the Lake District National Park. The Lake is only half a mile wide, but offered us glorious scenic views from our linear shore stroll. Not far from from Ennerdale Water, is Ennerdale Bridge close to the River Ehen.
This is the cutest hamlet with its own community run cafe (The Gather) also local church just by the Fox and Hounds. The whole of this area offered outstanding beauty to capture on camera from which we retain lovely relaxing memories.
A convenient carpark Bleach Green Cleator CA23 3AS is free and next to start of the trail paths around the lake.

Love these peaceful places, could sit by that water for hours. Those midges are dreadful, six of us bitten to glory on the Isle of Sky. Nice relaxing music fits well with the scenery Shanita.

Unfortunately, we don't have so many peaceful places to walk nowadays, but always appreciated when we find somewhere. As far as midges are concerned, any bites not only remain on me but seem to keep coming back long after the bite. I always take antihistamine cream with me now. Glad you liked this piece of music Steve. It didn't take long to produce for a change !

A beautiful walk around Ennerdale Water Shanita. Nice and tranquil until invaded by dogs. That was a beautiful little Church. So many are locked these days. A sign of the times, sadly. But great that it was actually open. Thanks for sharing. I've really enjoyed this vlog. Great music too.

Thanks Chris. Ennerdale Bridge was such a quaint pretty hamlet small community and local church. It made a change to mix a very lazy walk with leisure.Nice to know my music appreciated too.

Fantastic video from two of my fave youtubers.the views from the lake shore were wonderful...like you i have no idea about the different rocks..loved your music...it put me in mind of one of my fave bands [ Prefab sprout ]

I really enjoyed that Shanita. For me Ennerdale is one of the better Lakes. Alas, I don't go very often with it being one of the furthest parts of the Lakes for me. I did however stay at Ennerdale youth hostel in 1989. Nice to see it again. Best wishes, Chris

Did you walk the 3 miles from car park to hostel? Presume need to travel light with food and overnight belongings. Probably something you're used to with wild camping. Glad you found enjoyable. Thanks Chris. All best to you and family.

Lovely there beside Ennerdale Shanita, I've not been there myself. Loved the church too. "Atmospheric" was another lovely piece of your music. I've actually returned from a holiday from where I've received loads of midge bites, eek! 😯 By the way, I was unable to respond to your reply to my comment on your last video. For some reason each time I tried, my comments kept vanishing - another KZbin glitch I guess 🙄 Anyway to answer your question without my comment hopefully vanishing again this time, Binn Green car park is just a little further up the hill on the A635 from the main Dovestone car park. No worries Patrick about not responding to replies. Its happened to me a few times too. I hope your enjoyed your holidays. Must be annoying about the midgies bites. I'm allergic to bites as can't get rid of them without anti-histamine tablets. Yes I saw where Bin Green cp was when Michael drove past recently. Somewhere to keep in mind.
