Its sad this kinda music is gone, they dont make them like they used to. I'm 55 I grew up watching these as a kid in the 70s. My dads 89 in July, moms 84, there still alive, the heart keeps on ticking.

I'm only 24 and i think this is best music, they just don't do music like this for movies anymore. they barely make good movies anymore if I'm being honest. but music like this, simple storys like this, it made for amazing movies, something a lot of modern films forget.

I was to young to go in the cinema, when all this movies were started, but I saw in the newspaper, the movies ran for weeks and month. After I saw them the first time, I understood why. Throughout my childhood, my father was a huge spaghetti western fan. I was always blown away by these massive scores and would whistle them all day. How this guy only got 1 Oscar is beyond me and that for a modern movie. He added such emotion and passion. God rest your soul Sir, you're light will continue to shine.

I have watched all 3 dollar movies at least once a year since they came out but the final scene in TGTBATU i have "listened" to so many times i can't recall. That trumpet is insane delivering drama, suspense, tears, goosebumps and an apreciatation of Morricone's genius.

When we visited Rome, I took my son on a trip by train, bus and foot to a little cemetery south of the city where Leone is buried. To my chagrin, it is kept locked. We snuck around back and scaled a 6 foot wall, so we could lay flowers on this great man's grave.

E chi oserebbe mai dimenticare o di aver mai sentito delle belle musiche dei film western come quelle del grandissimo Ennio Morricone??? Quest'ultimo era la cima di tutti, e non credo che nascerà mai un'altro più bravo di lui, sarà sicuramente molto dura. Il maestro Ennio Morricone è ormai una leggenda della musica del cinema italiano e mondiale. Ci ha fatto volare fino ad arrivare ad immaginare il modo in qui si viveva nel west Americano, ma anche grazie alle sue musiche ci incitava a guardare i capolavori di diversi film che avrebbero avuto i grandi successi al livello internazionale. Non credo che qualcuno riuscirà a eguagliare la fantasia e le creazione del maestro Ennio Morricone, suo nome è ormai inciso in lettere d'oro su tutti i libri del grande cinema. Chissà cosa ci avrebbe dato ancora dal repertorio musicale ??? Purtroppo il suo creatore se lo ha ripreso, chissà lo vuole con se per ascoltare da vicino. Che la sua anima riposi in pace. Grazie maestro Ennio Morricone per quello che ci hai lasciato. ... Solo capolavori!!!
