glad you liked it, just seemed like someone should make note of a stadium full of memories being dozed into history. I was in the class of 67' myself and video'd lots of games for show on the Ennis cable system for the kids. Hopefully the school will keep its word and leave the old high school/jr school standing and not waste more history, and memories...

Please add two videos for me Dwain. 1)Kenny Spain walking through the band. The one shown on America's Funniest Videos. 2) The Blues Brothers show from 1990. Still considered by many to be the 1000th best performance in the history of entertainment.

That stadium was jr high for me lol still have memories there though, p.e. classes, and jr high football games :) it was kinda cool to have a high school, and a jr high stadium. The jr high games look kinda weird now in the big stadium lol

Well, would have been but I've got literally Hundreds of videos of EHS football and other Ennis events starting in 1984 and ongoing until 2006 when I had a serious work accident, so this was just a quick little video to let many-many people know what's regretablly happening to our old stadium. Sad to say..... thanks for your comment

Yes, it could have been a great landmark for local events, as it has been, Cancer society walk, just recently, our school system is also going to demolish the vocational building next to the stadium and is going to use our high school, rather Jr High for alternative education, sad waste of money, then build a new kindergarten on the same property, sad mis-use of taxpayer money.
