A real gem in the cannon of Christmas carols made all the more special not just because of the beautiful lyrics and delightful tune, but because of your great research in establishing the sources and endeavours of those who preserved and recoded and notated what is undoubtedly a perennial classic that deserves and no doubt now will gain greater acclaim because of your endeavour.🙏🏼
