We bought a knife set for 20 euro, I think that's about 25 dollars. they are pretty sharp, but you can't leave them in water or put them in the dishwasher. I'm really happy with them. they are from a brand called royalty line Switzerland. you either hate them or you love them.

great videos, have seen already 10 in a row. btw i once made my own ''recipe'' of spring rolls except they were ...searolls. in addition to green veggies i added a good pinch of japanese seaweed bought at a biofood shop in athens and one shimp. was cooking for friends, back then, as i was preparing they were also eating. i made 14 searolls and hoped to take one to see what it tasted like after all, but they were all gone; friends were asking where i bought them from, then i told them they were homemade. then they asked what was the filling and i said and they were kinda shocked - first time eating seaweeds!!. but they loved them. twist: i wok-ed the veggies with a bit of ready-to-buy mixture for ...pasta, it worked great. for the record i am vegetarian, not vegan. once in a while i have a bit of seafood heheh. greetings from greece - i love japan :)

try making spring roll skins with rice flour, it should fry up to be very crunchy. Taro, sweet potatoes, yam... that shredded finely can soak up the juices so no need cooking in advance :) anyway so happy to see a Vietnamese dish here :)

Hello Ryoya San,I just found this channel after a long time subscribed your main channel -_-" i have 2 questions, first Is it fine to change the enoki mushrooms with another kind of mushrooms? (here is available only in limited places), second what ingredients that can mix to substitute mirin or at least the taste similar with mirin? (I can't eat anything with alcohol on it)
@haranjung51908 жыл бұрын
Maybe I'm not qualified to answer you but here is my solution : 1, yes you can use any type of mushroom you want, they'll taste great regardless; 2, for substitution of mirin, I recommend a pinch of sugar, not too much, since mirin has a mild sweet taste, I hope sugar can replace or mimic that taste somehow :)
I have Japanese cousins, and you speak english very well. Especially, with the 'r'! You see to not have any problems. Anyway, I love your videos. It's so relaxing to watch.

Konichiwa Kawasaki Kawai ,I'm a mother of four young men and a little smurf from Saudi Arabia.Your age attract me so much I wished that my sons are ambitious as you are God bless you;they are around your age .The Empire of freedom is no more existed in reality people like the shield of food more than the young generation imagine .However,Food cuisine built strong ponds and bonds between people around the world using this cyber services .Therefore,what comes to my mind while I'm watching your rolls recipe was that the old traditional dehydration using sheets of banana fibers as a dehydrated plate,pressed between layers,put a heavy weight over it then steam it and stuff it the way you did ;it would be more crunchy .My family were leaders of trade routes we get used to exchange these style of life knowledge and science during the time of exchanging farm trades ,thank you for the free recipes I wish to taste them soon.
