My $32k solar install of 10klw microfit system 8 years ago had a 7.1 yr payback. That program is over in Ontario Canada. Today a 7 kilowatt net meter system has a $18k cost $6 k rebate 0% interest 10 year loan 12 year payback . Enphase is included in the recent quote for a smaller home. Today enphase stock dropped 13% as installs slow down with market conditions. The estimate assumed a 6% increase in electricity cost per year.

was just thinking this while I was watching also HIMS is growing much faster, and is entering GLP-1 and weight loss space. $100 million in buybacks and much more disruptive than enphase

Reaching back after ENPH earnings today...it's sitting at $80 in after hours and could easily leave that Sept 2020 support to go down to $70. I hope you can do another video on this company as a follow up please. Cheers

additions to this would be that EIA predicts solar capture by 2030 to be close to 10%, which would double the current total installed solar capacity, so take everything we built in the past twenty years and build it again in the next 7 years. Additionally most renewable generation subsidies are renewed on their sunset periods and are in the billions of dollars where the next highest is half of what renewables get. While the renewables space is diverse, solar typically wins out due to it upsetting the least amount of people in terms of actually pouring concrete for energy development.

After seeing this, it seems like HIMS is more likely headed to under a dollar rather than $12-15. Like you said, spending 85% of their revenue selling stuff simply isn't sustainable. Why would you set a price target of $15 for 2025 and then say that you "would not touch HIMS"? If you "wouldn't touch it", then shouldn't you set a lower price target rather than a higher one?

Your share dilution analysis about $hims is wrong. They IPOed with a bit more than 150 million shares in 2021. They did not IPO in 2020 with 35 million shares as you indicated. I made the same mistake as you in the past, but a quick google search will verify what I just said.

Enphase is a good company, they are especially good in the micro-inverter sector. However the world leaders are Chinese with Huawei, Sungrow and Goodwe. Some Austrian are not bad like Fronius or SMA but they are losing ground….So on the long term, not sure Enphase will win this battle, let’s see….

Not a great video, lots of info was wrong. HIMS is already EBITDA positive when you showed that it wasnt. In terms of SG&A comparison, youre comparing two different businesses (ones with high gross margins tend to have high marketing exp) so your take on this is also bias, the 500 ENPH price target makes no sense, and the share based comp is again biased as youre comparing a more mature company vs a high growth one. With dilution the same thing, youre taking into account the IPO selling that HIMS had not long ago so its obvious that they have over 100% dilution. I could go on and on...
