Wow. You're right. I would never have thought of Killing Joke while listening to Enslaved. My brother often hears things like that, which I can't, too. I played him Charge by Elbow once and he heard something a little bit like Peter Gabriel. I just went back and listened to the start of Absolute Dissent (first song on recent KJ album of the same name). You should hear how Enslavey the little choppy guitar break is that comes 40 seconds into that first song. It's a bit like 'who's been listening to who'. Or complete coincidence. Whichever; I don't care. I don't think there's anything wrong with influences, intentional or accidental, anyway. That was an interesting observation, though. Thank you. For that and the reminder for Killing Joke when I couldn't think of what else to listen to.

It's a beautiful video and the concept for the album sounds cool. That said, while I think they're good at making music in the style they've settled on, I'm kinda disappointed that they haven't evolved since Axioma Ethica Odini. The last three albums have sounded kinda samey and this one seems to continue that trend. I want Enslaved to experiment again
