I took notes from this video because I am a person of color, an African-American woman to be exact and I have slight melasma that I’ve been trying to treat without hydroquinone & besides cysteamine.. most lasers aren’t really an option to me without adverse or damaging side effects but thank you for the informational video… Hopefully I can formulate a decent routine based on the things you said!

Thank you sooo much!!! I live in Texas. I went to my dermatologist this past Friday, and he suggested I had some laser spot test done on this huge melasma spot in the middle of my forehead to see if I saw any difference and liked the results before going and paying to have it removed. I initially went for some Botox but also ended up with the spots on my face looked at. He prescribed me this Tranexamic Acid medication, and since the hydroquinone that I’ve tried before aren’t really doing it’s job I really wanted something different. We will see if it works. I was trying to find out what it was that he prescribed me and your video just made me feel more confident about his treatments on my face. You have been very helpful. My trust on my dermatologist has gotten bigger thanks to your explanations...Thank you 😊

Thank you for the excellent video! It was extremely informative and well presented. The pace was perfect and the information thorough yet concise. I appreciate how you organized the information, and used the graphics to explain various pieces of your discussion. And also nice to see the laser in action. I wish I lived in Singapore as I could use several of the treatments you offer and would take great comfort in knowing I was going to a competent professional and would get great results. Many thanks again!

Iam Asian woman..I have this problem for 7yrs..I went through lots of treatments like glycolic peel for 6mth it didn't work..last mth my dr did TCA peel but my skin burnt now it has darkend more than before..pls suggest me..what should I do
@glamorebeautybar408510 ай бұрын
TCA is banned in Canada for this exact reason. And now on social media you see all these Canadian clinics using TCA based peels like the perfect derma or bioreel for example without any pre-or post care, and it causes exactly what you’re going through with your skin. It’s so unfortunate. There’s so little regulation in this industry it’s unbelievable.

@@daryhlldaryhll7348 dami ko na kasi cream nilagay at wla nangyari kaya i did my research po talaga, nag food elimination ako. I found out na nakaka melasma sa akin yung fried foods(any oil kasi na subjected to high temp not good for our health), sugary food, junk food. Mga natural food lang kinakain ko at more on raw vegetables like salads gumawa ako nga sarili kong salad dressing. nag fade ang melasma ko in a month. Tapos bawas din sunlight and heat exposure. Pero yung sa food, baka depende din po yun sa metabolism ng each person.
