You have a GIFT for educating. Thank you for also utilizing your cosmetic chemistry knowledge to inform us that it goes beyond the ingredient...formulation matters! As a pharmacist, I nerd out on pharmacokinetics (hehe), so this was a pleasure to watch. Another request: please do a video on underarm hyperpigmentation and corrective measures. First off, the way your skin glows in this video is encouraging to me as I’m on my skin care journey. I watched your video on melasma/hyperpigmentation and have developed my skin care routine based on your recommendations - (including cyspera) I’m only 2 weeks in and hope my skin can be half as glowy as yours in 14 weeks - I had a super bad case of melasma with back to back pregnancies. Wish me luck!

Honestly check out Dr. Berg, his advice (B5 [250mg], cod liver oil, zinc supplements) is the only thing that cleared my acne other than accutane. Find a good derm and treat the acne 1st, then deal with the hyperpigmentation. Other than accutane, minocyclin, retin a and benzaclin work well. There are many acne routines by dermatologists on here also Brianna Stanko has good acne product videos. To deal with acne & hyperpigmentation I use Lytera, Skinceticals Phyto+, Osmosis AC Catalyst DNA Serum (Vit C) and Tazorac 0.1%. Gonna try Anteage Brightener next.

I always wanted to ask this but never knew who to ask, if I put a products like tranexamic acid in my entire face will it attack ONLY the hyperpigmentation or will it lighten my whole face? The lightening serums I've used would literally lighten my whole face. Obviously certain products have to be used like spot treatment. But is there any hyperpigmentation products that will just lighten the spots even if you use it on your whole face? I've always been curious. Thanks 😊

I got great results with Lytera 2.0 but it’s so expensive! Tried going cheaper with other products with the ingredients you listed but, 6 months later, my hyperpigmentation sunspots are coming to the surface again😩 Broke down and ordered more lytera 2.0😭

Hey! Love your vids. What about the natrium transexamic acid 5%? Is it an oil? Is it worth it?

Thanks a bunch Dr. The video is comprehensive and educative. What other skin products is advisable to add with tranexamic acid for hyperpigmentation pls. My hyperpigmentation has been with me since about 4yrs now, it will go and come back. Please I need to have my confidence back with ur help. Thank you.

This helps alot because inhad nonidea pfnany of it. I have hyperpigmentation on my upper lip an forehead hairline. 2019 indidnt have it at all but now I do an I feel.it had to do with my PCOS an being in the sun but more of hormone based. I hate that I look like I have a mustache cause my skin color. Its embarrassing for me. Hopefully I can find the more affordable one because I just became a single mommy of 3 (14, 11.5, 9) after being married 14yrs an with his 18. An I'm on a budget. Thank you for the help!
