It was really great to see Enstrom back up and running with a good crew, solid owners. Also, to see Kenny Keller and the Helicopter Online Ground School staff visiting with members both upcoming pilots and those who have succeeded with the help of HOGS. What a wonderful life experience and such tremendous motivation to continue. Congratulations to all.

Did my retorting/helicopter rating at age 68. Had. commercial airplane, seaplane and glider ratings prior. Did it in a Guimbal Cabri G2.

@Concerned Individual I would say that the older we get the slower we learn. I took a lesson every day, sometimes 2. More than 2 is exhausting and I was in good shape for an old guy. One in the am and one in the PM would be good.. I didn't need to take the written/knowledge test but if you do, do the ground school and get it out of the way before you get too involved with the flying. It will let you advance more quickly if you do.

Worked with chief engineer there for over 30 years supplying freewheeling clutches. Enstrom booked up 12 orders at the show. Awesome. They hope to be recertified by Q2 2023 and start delivering. Great new ownership!

Very nice to see the solid foundation the company is on. I fly in the utility market, and I would love to see Enstrom having a bigger presence in that market.

The first model to he delivered to the French dealer crashed not long ago. The carburetted pushrod engine lost power.

The piston Enstroms have suffered with a terrible mechanical governor for 30 years. Where have you been?

@@triggerpointtechnology Uhh...Enstrom had correlators, I think.

As an Enstrom owner (2) and having flown them over 800 hours, I appreciate the robust design. However, the Enstrom suffers from antiquated design which is locked in via certification requirements. This is literally a 1960 design with only a few nods to modern engineering. Love the Enstrom. Will never buy one again.
