Excruciating. I have to relate an experience I had Tuesday of this week at Mass: Just before the priest raised the host and chalice to proclaim Behold the Lamb of God, I suddenly saw and FELT the weight of Jesus' bloody, torn and dead body in my own arms, feeling the weight of Him in my arms, the crown of thorns pressing against my shoulder, and the inconceivable sorrow of His mother. It was she who was allowing this experience for me, and yet she did not allow me to feel the true depths of her grief and sorrow, knowing I could not handle it. I was overwhelmed and sobbed through the rest of the Mass. I don't know how I made my way forward to receive Him in the Eucharist, but I did. And all I could think was "We did this to Him! We did this to Him!" We all get lazy about those little venial sins, or even the grave sins, thinking we can just go to confession and be absolved. This experience made me want fervently to NEVER sin in any manner ever again, because of the agony it causes Him. I feel humbled and greatly honored to have been entrusted with this experience. If everyone could experience it, I think it would change how we perceive ourselves and our actions. God bless you all!!

One small reflection on GETTING CHRIST NAKED: I am a quite tough businessman, who use many tricks and methods, how to succeed in contracts. One of this was to spit a little bit of Competitors. Nevertheless, when I bring it to my confession, as a small negligible sin, a friend of mine, a zeal catholic priest said quite strictly: STOP UNDRESSING CHRIST NAKED, once and for all! And this is exactly what YOU LOVELY LADIES are explaining: any spit, any gossip, any bad talks, any swearing, any insults to our neighbour, business colleges, spouse, children, friend or enemy is still only one and the same: STRIPING CHRIST NAKED, whipping him again, torturing him, killing him again, depriving him of humanity and divinity…so I have stopped it, shutting my mouth up…

We prayed the 24 hours with my husband! Well, we tried, I couldn't stay awake, my husband missed only 3 because of need of sleep, but I thank you SO MUCH for this beautiful devotion. The blood shed by Our Lord in Gethsemani was due to extreme spiritual and emotional agony so great that tiny blood vessels burst and blood mingled with His sweat. This makes His flesh exceedingly tender. Just touching Him arm would hurt and grabbing Him would be quite painful. He spared Himself nothing.

We have so many spiritual gifts and miracles that many people don't know or reject it, Even Christian brothers and sisters don't believe these miracles as they just focus on God's words in the Bible. I'm pausing right as you are beginning to read the 4th hour - 'sweet love of mine' - that strikes me in the very heart! There was a hard rock song in 1987 where the refrain was 'sweet child of mine' - and it was so catchy, I distinctly recall working with a very religious woman (not a Catholic, but devoted in her own faith) who was just entranced by this song! And it was just so opposite of everything about her, this hard rock song! And now, seeing THIS - wow! so that song truly was a corruption of holy words - no wonder why it charmed people (meaning that in the original, negative sense of the word) ~ It was Guns N Roses - "Whoa, yeah Whoa, oh, oh, oh Sweet child o' mine Whoa, oh, whoa, oh Sweet love of mine Whoa, oh, oh, oh Sweet child o' mine Ooh, yeah Ooh, sweet love of mine Where do we go? Where do we go now?" (The album was called "Appetite for Destruction" (!) and the story behind the song is telling, also : "The lyrics came from a poem Axl Rose was working on. He wrote the song about his girlfriend, Erin Everly, the daughter of Don Everly of the Everly Brothers. After dating for four years, they got married at a quickie wedding in Las Vegas on April 28, 1990, but just nine months later, the marriage was annulled, with Everly claiming abuse."

Apparently one of the promises of this prayer is that a soul would be saved for every word of the prayer. Maybe I understood it wrong but if it really means what I think it means, if a soul can really be saved for every word, then we just have to get 100,000 people to pray 5000 words of this prayer each day (30 minutes to an hour) that's 500 million words a day. In 20 days it'll reach 10 billion, that's more than enough for conversion of the whole world. 100,000 isn't big of a number with 1 billion Catholics, i think we have more than 100,000 just counting Priests and Nuns alone. So why isn't this prayer promoted like our life depended on it? this prayer needs to be as widespread as the Rosary atleast for sake of salvation of souls and consoling Jesus. A decree from Pope and Bishops throughout the world will definitely get more than 100,000 adherents.

Dear Captain, First of all, we need to pray for conversions of more ardent and fervent Catholic souls to pray this prayer.. There is a growing number of Catholics who have become laid back in their prayer and spiritual life and too caught up in worldly matters and distractions. Churches closed for a time because of Covid 19 and the pandemic. Therefore, many Catholics esp among the youth have got so used to following Masses on livestream that they find it difficult to get out of this complacency and habit.

I know this one an somewhat older video, but every time one of you ladies started to read the words from the book, I keep hearing what sounds like heavy breathing. I also have had another experience at adoration at Christmas time where I thought I could hear people singing, so much so I thought they were having a choir practice in the next room next to the chapel. To my amazement, when the holy hour was over, I asked the other people there who said no, no such choir practice was happening. ? This is not the first time I have heard this kind of thing, once with another live prayer centecle was no doubt what I heard, actual growling and other sounds. I have a question regarding dating in relationships: let’s say we are dating a Christian who was a catholic, and still practices some of the teachings in the faith one such is abstinence before marriage, except doesn’t want anything to do with the church. Let’s say you love this person but hate the fact that he doesn’t take part in the faith with you and refuses to hear about anything catholic. I am a faithful catholic and told him so and have reminded him that he will always be catholic even if he gets mad. Would you stay in that relationship and risk loosing your catholic faith and that of your future family or end the relationship preserving your faith and pray for his reversion? By the way, we broke up but I still wanted to ask because I feel like the past few weeks have been filled with feelings of betrayal from some family members who don’t see how big faith plays in a relationship. I find comfort in listening to the Hours of the Passion, thank you for sharing and God bless. I often feel like I was selfish for having standards in relationships. A very excellent conversation/talk on this most deep mystical knowledge of truth! Please tell me.....if I want to enter more into the Hours of His Passion, does that mean continuous prayer and vigil with complete fasting and no sleep for the entire hours????? I am not clear about this aspect of being with Jesus in His holy Passion for all of these hours! Can you please clarify this for me! Thank you!

You wake up every hour on the hour for 24 hours. It was very difficult for me and I failed for three hours but I picked it back up in the morning when I woke up. Hopefully, next year I will, with God's grace, succeed. Christine Bacon
