i don't know, i kind of feel that it would make the game more stale, like ecore already has raza so he would most likely go for anduin, meanwhile rarran either goes malfurion and ends up with a druid deck that literally can't lose or he goes for gul'dan and just gets warlock as a second deck that is as strong as his druid one

You may have already thought of this, but you could use a pack opening simulator for these and then use those cards on your main account so that you don't have to buy packs every video I remember you mentioning this series was very expensive so this could help

Hey rarran obviously the final decision is up to you but I think there probably just shouldn't be any discover rule and i know this might hurt the feeling like the old expansions part of the challenge but I also feel like both you guys abusing buffed cards feels pretty similar to that and I'm fine with it so I guess I feel like it should be ok to discover stronger cards just like using buffed cards is fine

I think the rule is there more to influence deck building. If there weren’t any restrictions, they could heavily lean on the discover mechanic to get stronger cards but it would kinda go against the purpose of the callenge.

Hey Rarran, just wanted to say that these videos have become a sort of weekly ritual/hype for me. It's really fun watching what cards you get and how you adapt them to your decks or make new ones depending on what you get. Would be cool to see you do this series with other content creators in the future (if you don't find it boring/repetitive) and maybe see you spin a wheel with all that sets legendaries and craft one as a bonus (just so you'll always get 2 if you're on new accounts). Love the content!

The fact that you guys didn’t use the prologue to get DK’s from one if not the most memorable set of all time… is extremely disappointing. I understand “side sets” or adventures even though they were important to the history of hearthstone. This actively feels like a mistake to not take/show the power of the death knights. Especially as later on you get free legendaries anyway for just opening packs, unless you choose to exclude cards like Prince Ren, blade master, and the like.

I think the rule for Cthun only being allowed to one deck, should be applied to neutral legendary in general. Opening a good neutral legendary is like opening 3 good class legendary, because you can just slam it into all 3 deck and make them all stronger.

THIS is the set I was waiting for. This is hands down, save for Hearthstone's first Expansion+Adventure, one of the best times I ever had during a Standard Season. All of the Hero cards contributed entirely new decks to the game - - - Which is kinda' a first for an expansion to have such an insane impact on the game up to that point. After seeing the games, and this is obviously "backseat gaming", I do think Ecore should consider his plays a little more. He had a lot of misplays this go-around that really cost him games/snowballed into game-ending advantages for Rarran. No hate buddy - - Just slow down a little and think for a moment.

I feel like the loser should get the catch up packs, either that or maybe allow them to craft a non legendary every challenge they lose. Honestly felt like Rarran was going to sweep the whole thing (he kinda threw last episode tho ngl) and now he has the means to with two impactful legendaries

Maybe this is slightly against the spirit of the series, but I personally think it would be great to allow each of you to craft one Death Knight Hero card for the next expansion, or perhaps spin the wheel again that allowed you to craft the two rares

Has a 1/2 and a 1/1 buffer ready to attack. Has a spell to get a 3/3 ready to attack. And has an elemental doing damage but can't attack. HMMM, should he attack with the 1/1 first to buff the creature able to attck, or should he play the elemental at first place so IT could receive the buff? Certainly the 2nd option is better!

Ok so y'all really screwed up the balance of this series. Because the winner gets more packs and the loser gets nothing, whoever wins more games has better odds of winning every subsequent game. You should've had some kind of benefit for the loser instead. If I were gonna make this game it would've been winner gets more packs, loser gets to craft cards

Really great expansion (druid aside)! I know there's a lot of dog in the old packs, but I had a ton of fun playing weird decks during this time. I remember putting together all sorts of jank and greedy druid decks because the base shell was so strong that you could run anything as your win con--- and I definitely put that to the test.

Tainted Zealot, the card Ecore got in his last pack, is actually insane with Defile because it almost guarentees 5 damage across the Board for 4 mana total
