@_kadoodles_2 ай бұрын
@@Steflora1) Shell Bell's heal rate is so ass that it's hardly ever worth using most of the time. Try and see if you can find even 1 competitive player who ever used it. Emerald Kaizo (especially deathless) is a rare exception because of how long it takes to get Leftovers, how rare mid-battle healing options are for the player in general, and because (unlike competitive) players know the exact stats of the mons and AI's choices for every opponent, as well as edit teams before matches, so they can do calculations to find out if Shell Bell's healing would actually be useful per fight. 2) Most Pokemon games are post-Gen 4's physical/special split, and anyone into Pokemon is super used to thinking about mons' movesets/viability that way by now. Alakazam running Thunder Punch and actually being threatening with it sounds like a joke for anyone who doesn't play Gens 1-3 religiously, which is most people.

@@_kadoodles_ i dont know much about the games anymore but i know my alakazam was mvp in a lot of fights because of it's speed mainly. i had lead scissor, u turn into blaziken mach punch flinch and see from there for easy kills. kyogre set up drizzle and had thunder, surf and ice beam, absol had crunch, shadow ball, solar beam (how and why but yes indeed) and more thunder obviously. big pp matters. the blaziken had mach punch, overheat, uppercut and aerial ace to honor it's chicken ways and it came in handy. the zam had shockwave for easy par and i used flygon for dragon moves and earthquake. gotta have some earthquake. i didn't make the rules. also i needed a flyer to fly on. 😂👍 anyway indeed i'm old and remembering my childhood wtf do i know?? i'll tell you. i know you respect an Alakazam 🗿
@auroraourania716119 күн бұрын
@@nothingatonceeither you are remembering wrong about your scizor's moveset, or you are referring to generation 4 or later. U turn wasn't introduced until generation 4. You could be thinking of baton pass? I'm not sure if The way it learns that is something that you get in a normal run (egg moves or something like that), but I do know that it gets it. Blaziken never has had access to Mach punch, so I assume you mean sky uppercut or some other fighting move, none of which flinch but that's fixable with an item so I assume you had it holding a King's Rock. For me, I forget some details, since I've always always relied on more than six pokémon at a time, but I do know that my original emerald playthrough had my Blaziken, flygon, walrein, Rayquaza, ludicolo, and salamence as my original Hall of Fame team. I'm fairly certain 'that Poketuber' is against any ROM hacks/randomizers to begin with🤔 (I can't recall if that's a fact i heard him say or if I imagined it so take it with a grain of salt lol!)

@afandomatrandom Жыл бұрын
@@lookie4448 The same person I assume op is talking about: Verlisify. He is very much against hacking/cheating in Pokemon (competitive or personal). One such topic is hacking in a Pokemon with the IVs/nature/moveset instead of breeding the mon (some argue it doesn't make a difference, Verlis argues that the time difference is an advantage for the hacker vs the breeder) He's a controversial topic, and I know a lot of the Pokemon community seems to hate him with a burning passion. I'm neutral towards him- I believe hacking is wrong for competitive play (especially Nationals or other Competitions), and those guilty of it should be called out, but he can be a bit much/stubborn on some things. I can concede a couple exceptions for hacking if it is purely for personal use (like randomizers, modding for a different starter or such like for those challenges you can find on KZbin, or a shiny/event mon as long as it only stays in that game) . But that's just my two cents😞

How does he always guarantee his mons wake up on the right turn? There were multiple times he went into battles with sleeping mons and they always woke up on exactly the turn he needed - and I didn't see sleep talk or chesto berries or anything like that. Does the sleep counter transfer between battles or something?

I think popoffs have become a little too exaggerated on account of people always trying to outdo one another with their "crazy popoffs" and love going viral. Congratulations to him, that last-second Glacia strat sure paid dividends. Big thanks to the user who forced the Chicken Run, too.

Genuine question: did you intentionally audio balance this vid so that his screams are more hype? Because when headphone users like me watch this video we have to constantly adjust the volume so that we can hear you talk without having our ears start bleeding every time you cut to his live reaction. I understand wanting to emphasis "hype" moments through volume balancing but this is way way way over the top. Like your base volume is significantly lower than the volume of him just regular speaking, which he usually isn't doing in this video. He is screaming most of the time you cut to him and even when he isn't, his volume feels like it is twice as high as yours. I feel like my ear drums are going to burst, so I turn it down to about 30% normal volume which is barely tolerable and then when you come back it seems like you are whispering to the point that I am not able to hear you without turning it back up to 100%, at which point he comes back on screaming and bursting ear drums. Even like a headphone users warning would have been super helpful, or just balancing the audio to where you speaking doesn't sound like a mouse skittering across the room vs him being a F16 fighter jet's engine blasting directly into our eardrums through a series of megaphone feeding into larger and larger megaphones. Like I exaggerate with this comment but not by much. My ears are ringing after watching this video, and I don't suffer from tinnitus. Like you are going to cause legit hearing loss in some people with this audio balancing.

An amazing accomplishment and it's really neat to have a video walking through it! However, I will say watching through it was a bit of a trip with the constant swings of quiet commentary to extremely loud popoffs. In the future if the volume could be more consistent throughout or if there were more warnings for loud segments, that would be very appreciated. Great work as always aside from that!
