So many other great movies tried the combined 2D and 3D Style style but never got the credit they deserved cuz studio execs wanted em to fail......Treasure Planet and Atlantis the lost empire, are cinematic and story telling masterpieces that Disney sabotaged cuz they wanted to pool all their efforts towards 3D. so glad to see 2D/3D hybrid animation is getting a breath of new life.

It sounds so sweet and I love how the style looks like an abstract painting I'm glad we're slowly starting to get more adult animation with a diverse range of stories to tell and I hope this continues. @@thescruffinator8830 it has to do with the fact that Animation has low representation of black stories. There's starting to be more now but back then there was little to none. If there was any it was mostly stereotypical or had black characters as side characters

While most of us focus on things like quality of the story, characters, music and so on but there will always be that loud minority basically a toxic Fandom that consists of the "woke". The type to encourage you to support someone base on skin color rather than character. That being said this art style looks amazing and the story has already drawn me in I look forward to seeing it in few days.

@@Kenzinru At some point you finally have to stop replacing white culture and calling everyone a racist if they are against the cultural suppression of traditional white culture. There's a reason no one watched that new Alice and Wonderland movie. The new Lord of the Rings series also did quite poorly in viewership partly for the same reasons. They had no respect for the culture of the series, didn't know how to write an epic, and then changed the characters races/personalities. Flopped. Just make new content and literally everyone is happy. No one wants remakes anyway

After having watched the movie, I'm actually seeing how this trailer seems to blur the line between "love" and "art" (with Meadow's speech about the "ability to capture a moment.." coming right after all of the characters saying "it's love"), and what it might kinda say about the movie. Since it's concerned about looking good, looking artistic and the leads are artists. Art as love, love as art, in both you need to be careful and take time, both can get you "high" and super passionate, be a complete thrill, a heartsong.
