Entering the IRON AGE on Create Superflat Survival!

I was browsing the other day over on the Curseforge app for a modpack that pretty much just utilized the Create mod in the 1.20 update, all in a Superflat world environment on Minecraft.
Little to my knowledge no such thing actually existed…
So I took it upon myself to go ahead and Create(get it) my very own modpack for me to play around on.
Once again, I'm gonna tackle the Superflat world challenge!

Dan. You might as well ONLY wash the gravel, since you get flint both ways. The fact there's a little loss with the flint doesn't really matter if you consider the cobblestone is literally infinite. It's the difference between waiting an hour or waiting an hour and 5 minutes at that point, and you'll be using FAR less stress.

Since millstones also function as vertical cogs, they transfer rotational force to adjacent cogs, including other millstones, but they reverse the rotational direction; the reason the second millstone was breaking when you placed it is because the gearbox below it was trying to rotate it in the opposite direction as the millstone next to it.

slime boots prevent ALL fall damage, so it is very useful + shifting stops bouncing one more thing, wool counts as sails for a windmill

@@DanRobzProbz, i for got to mention that windmills can't just be stacked not just outwards like you are doing, but you can also go out and make more layers

You can produce upto 8192 Su per windmill bearing at 16 rpm using 128 sails any extra sails would not add more Su

Dead easy way to protect Turtle Eggs: Just put a trapdoor or a slab on top. Also, don't forget you can use those Warped Fungi to make a perimeter that will keep Hoglins away. Could save your life.

Just a warning do not put a threshold switch on an mechanical exporter it will crash your game and potentially corrupt your world

29:10 you can replace the water there with a waterlogged leaf block right next to the cobble gen so it doesnt get stuck perhaps

there's a mod i'd recommend you consider, "Create: Garnished" it's all about food, and chocolate and such, however, one of the things you can do is make peanut oil, it's a really complicated setup however it allows you to make renewable superheated blase burners

19:50 the first millstone is powering the second one, since their built-in cogs mesh with each other. the gearbox is trying to spin it the opposite direction of the mill next to it, so it's breaking. you can have a large array of millstones, and only need to input power on one of them.

Pro tip, you don't need to filter into a draw as long as it A. Has something already in it or B. Is locked

Oh and since you now have access to infinite iron, you can do yourself a favor and make a basin and mixer to make you andesite alloys cheaper and get twice the amount for what you're using now

Cobble gen: you could even make it 5 wide and mine the cobble from the top. This way you would only need to connect the miner with coqwheels and would increase your production by 2,5 times.

I added Toms Simple Storage and Skyblock Builder, starting over on a skyblock island, I've enabled all the structures out of curiosity but I could have just left on the nether fortress for blazes as you said. Should be fun!

An idea for an improved drowned farm is using Zombie reinforcement to get more zombies to spawn

Millstones have gears in them, if you put them next to each other they will power each other. The direction of the power flips each time which is the problem you had, opposite direction inputs breaks the block. Similarly gears can power them from the side.

Regarding the turtle eggs for any zombie trap, you need to make sure that the eggs cannot be reached by the zombies (or any other mob). Enjoying the series.

A thing i recomend you is slowing some contraptions like the press as you ad more sails because they increase they speed so the contraptions will consume more stress unites aswell

Those slim boots are awesome .. they stop fall damage and you can jump run super fast and jump higher . you just need to practice and test them out .. saved me from fall damage many many times ...

There’s x2 types of this block, one for create contraptions and another that uses FE power yes

Speed times stress impact = stress units used low is times 1 moderate is times 2 high like the press is times 3

Dan, can you please list what can be manifested, I tried iron nugget, that didnt work, and now Zinc ingot, doesn't work. If you want that to be part of the grind that's cool but, can you give us a list, I just spent 2k on manifest and zinc ingot to not have it work. Please note: Im loving this Pack

38:48 ooh, that is not a good idea. when it was free cobble getting sent up it was ok for it to be wasted by this method of item transport. but i don't think you want your money to be voided, so i have to say something. the funnels are not intended to work this way, and they will occasionally stop working... as you've seen when sending up your cobble, but may not have understood what was happening. when the lower funnel pushes an item up, it is very briefly pushed into the input zone of the upper funnel. but there are many situations that may cause it to not be able to get sucked up at that exact moment, so it'll fall back down and sit on the lower funnel. and if a player doesn't come by and pick up the item, it'll sit there until it despawns. the lower funnel sees an item, so it stops sending items... the upper funnel doesn't see an item because their zones do not align when the item is at rest. again, they're not designed to be used this way, so the mod authors wrote it this way on purpose to kind of nudge you into doing it the right way... which is with chutes and fans. a funnel can insert items into a chute, and you can have a fan under the chute blowing upwards. this will send items up over very long distances. the speed of the fan just makes it go faster, not increase the distance. or, another method of getting items up would be belts. they can go at a 45 degree angle.

New Cobble Gen design: Are you aware of tangos Cobble Gen? It is quite far away considering the resources you will need bit the basic concept is amazing.

Triobian has a better design which works in a similar way, it's scalable and more compact. There's a tutorial vid and schematics so it's easy to try it out in creative mode. It generates insane amounts of cobble so is ideal for a smart factory like TangoTek's

that's another way! a harder but cheaper way is waiting for the game to spawn 2 chicken jockeys, then breeding them so you can get a chicken that can actually lay eggs
