I love this. If all places, I received click-bait from 'Wish' showing a picture of a pair of these rings hanging off a Wing Chun wooden man and Googled them to be taken right here. My eldest is 11 yrs old and been practising Wing Chun for 7-8 years but never used these. I've always thought she needs to have more tension and resistance in (and against) her forms (instead of just lightly and loosely going through the motions unimpeded in the air as kids do) and I can immediately see this tool would help keep her forms strong and restricted. Consider me signed up here👍🏽

I think your Wing Chun ring training instrument is pretty impressive and unique I think if I think about it I might go Walmart and see they have it there for practice I was thinking about trying to do Wing Chun for a good little while. I wish I could had stayed in karate so I can defend myself against these type of people cuz you never know all about improvements 🥋☯️🙏😌🙏☯️🥋

Basically the human body is made up of figure of eight's, the whole muscle structure is a helix, or figure of eight's that make up the structure's of muscle, the wing chun ring is an extention of that figure of eight makeing your arm's complete.

I've just bought a ring, main reason is that i can see the principal to the function of use, something not mentioned, the force and what meant to be the strain of pushing out woods on the ring at all time, it not so much for for but strength, the more force you can apply to the ring is more force pushing against your opponent, that's why their made of steel.

Do you want to put a bet on it, when i was younger i injured myself part of which was a twisted iliocostalis muscle, know untwisted i regularly use the waist band of my trousers to put my wrist pushing outward, this action make quite often muscle pop in to place/function, something the wing chun ring is going to let me do at all angle's, it's all about build strength.

But I know nothing about these techniques and movements I respect the understanding purpose behind it but it's not my thing😍 but I guess learning the movements can help with strengthen arm muscles as well thanks.
@voodoodudu25473 жыл бұрын
My suggestion is escrima sticks, I've got a lot more arm strength since I've been using them. You can find a lot of free combination videos online if you wanted to give them a try, I have tendonitis in both wrists and spinning the sticks helps. It hurts a little at first when I spin them because I'm stiff but then it loosens up both of my wrists and they become more limber, I've also got more definition in my arms.

I learned the basics of Wing Chun years ago, and progressed from there. For my 65th B-day, my son bought me one of these, "Rings," along with the, "How to" training book---but the pictures are too dark, and I can't tell what the guy's hands are doing. I simply used my knowledge of Wing Chun to figure it all out, but I thank you for off- ering some more insight into the use of these rings. One can also get Creative with these things. Thank you.

Hey Ash, praise God you are my brother. To put it simply, at all times preach Jesus in all you do and in everything you do, and if necessary.........speak. Hope that helps.

Beating people up for Jesus? Seriously... Jesus said clearly in the Sermon on the Mount "Do not resist an evil man". And he led by example by not fighting back when they were beating him up and murdering him, but forgave his attackers instead. And Jesus clearly said to forgive, even if you are harmed seventy time seven times... i.e. no matter how many times another does you wrong... forgive. Jesus was against using violence to fight, even in self defense. Christian militarism only came about when Constantine wanted Christians in his armies. Before that, Christians could be excommunicated for being in the military. Violence was VERY frowned upon in the early church. The early Church fathers stated clearly that being in the military, one was no longer a Christian. Modern Christians like to make up their own reasoning as to why they can have their guns and Jesus too. But even in the American Revolution... many Christians refused to fight against the British, because it was against the very clear teachings of Jesus. Jesus said "slaves serve your masters" and Paul said, "Obey the government, for God is the One who has put it there. There is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power. So those who refuse to obey the law of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow." There was NO option to disobey or Revolt against a Tyrannical government, or even to fight bask against slavers. Only peaceful refusal to obey is allowed. Like refusing to bow to an idol... and peacefully accepting one's own execution. This is why early Christian Martyrs peacefully allowed their own children to be murdered and ripped apart by wild animals in the Coliseum, rather than worship the Roman Emperor as God. It sounds like you have a choice to make. And that choice is between you and God alone. Jesus hates hypocrites more than unbelievers. I myself, vehemently disagree with Jesus when it comes to the use of violence(among other things.), so rather than be a lying hypocrite and falsely say that I am a Christian, I am honest about why I reject Jesus as the ultimate truth, and I am willing to go to Hell for it. Are you willing to go to Hell for Wing Chun? Jesus said that the Way is narrow and difficult. He wasn't lying. Following Jesus requires sacrifices, and compromises that I personally, am unwilling to make. (i.e. not killing aggressors.) So like I said, you have a choice...

@@EnochDark Yes, I am serious. Religions have rules. If you want to go to the good place, rather than the hot place, then you have to follow all of them, and not pick and choose which rules are convenient for you. If one wants to train martial arts... i.e. beating up and killing... in concert with one's religion, then one should join a religion that commands killing... There are several to choose from.
