I just listened to the original on Step up to the microphone for the first time in probably... 24 years? Now he does this!? Are you kidding me!? JOEL, this is SUCH A TREAT bro!!! Thank you for doing this man it means the world. Reminds me of a better time when i was still an innocent teenager making grandeur plans for the future and hanging out with my youth group friends. Btw Joel, i hitchhiked with a friend to Rockfest Atlanta, GA before they started doing it at Six Flags and it was just a big ol Christian woodstock in a field, MAN that was fun!!! Love you bro, so happy you've kept the faith over the years. I know it aint always easy brother.

I know/have met a ton of main stream artists, and Phil Joel was the most incredible guy to meet. Superstar, and when you meet him he makes each person feel like they are the most important person in the room. His redwood and whales book is incredible! I can't wait to run into him in heaven again.

Probably my overall favorite NW song from the original band, between this and Something Beautiful. I first saw them live at Loon Mountain in NH, decades back, and have absolutely LOVED them ever since. I have/enjoy Phil's debut CD too. I like the new Newsboys, but I honestly can't ever see them being as good/inspirational as when Peter and Joel were front and center. This version of Entertaining Angels is excellent. The music sounded like it was on the CD, done really well. GREAT video upload... Thank you! 🙂

I remember seeing you preform this song with the newsboys, when you visited Canada back in... 2004?? You guys came to Canada’s wonderland and this was my most favorite song ever and years later I still listen to it, this song has a special place in my heart..
