What is truly wonderful about Michael is that his jokes are never sexually offensive or rude about anyone; that's true talent. So many comedians and movies get laughs by nasty put downs or grubby sexual innuendo. Michael uses everyday life situations that we have all experienced and finds the comedy. That's comic genius. Thanks Michael!

@mena94x34 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry, but what?!? Love of your spouse and kids is rare in the States? What a ridiculous, inaccurate and wildly overdramatized generalization. Perhaps it’s rare in your family or in the little bubble you experience (and for that I pity you), but it’s absolutely _not_ the norm throughout the country. What an absurd blanket statement to make. 🙄
@carlyb78704 жыл бұрын
SynergyPhoenix lmao 52% of marriages end in divorce in the states bud
@mena94x34 жыл бұрын
Carly B - Maybe so, but that says nothing for the love those people have for their kids - one of the ridiculous insinuations made in the OP. Also, most of those divorces end amicably, many of which to the point the individuals say they care deeply for the well-being of their ex. and how important it is to have a respectful, caring operating relationship for the sake of their kids. The point is, she’s painting this broad stroke picture of love being absent in the home across the States, which is just wrong. It’s an ugly, unnecessary exaggeration.
@carlyb78704 жыл бұрын
SynergyPhoenix you divorce someone because you don’t love them anymore. Being civil for the kids is not a loving gesture, it’s called being a grownup. I’m not in love with any of my exes but I don’t want them to die or anything. Most parents are exhausted by their children and want their free time and lives back. Divorce and foster care would not be nearly as big a problem it is in the states if love was present. That’s not our society. Americans value work and money over family. That’s why child abuse, neglect, divorce, and unhappy marriages are so common here. Just because your little family may be happy does NOT mean the majority of Americans like their families.
@mena94x34 жыл бұрын
Carly B - Au contraire. It IS a loving action to move beyond hurt to model a healthy divorce for your kids. There is more than one kind of love. I personally know 3 couples that I’m not saying the divorce rates are too high (though most people tied the knot for superficial reasons and either didn’t want to put the effort in (even great matches require consistent and intentional effort), or are shocked to find out effort is required, or unfortunately find themselves in an abusive situation) . . . Most superficial marriages think it’s time for divorce because they had a disagreement 🙄 . . . Anyway. If couples took the time to get to know one another and learn what marriage actually is and that it requires purposeful work and that even then it’s not all roses and ribbons, marriages would last. There are deeper issues at work than wanting free time back, and I’ve only grazed the surface. It’s okay for us to disagree on this. It’s okay I don’t think a generalized statement of love being absent throughout the states is accurate.

You must explain to kids that pants down is an at home, family game only. Trust me when I say, they will try it outside the house. My eldest daughter tried to play our silly game of calling each other animal fluids (cow spit, pig snot, etc.) at day care. 3 years ago I stumbled across this clip re “pants down” it changed mine and everyone’s life around me. Pants down is now a daily game played in my house, around friends and family. Nobody is safe, we have even come up with a point system with 10 points going if you pants down, slap both arse cheeks and pants back up. There is now a rule in our house of, no tying pyjamas because it is unfair to the game of pants down. I have many stories of successful pants down. Life. Changed.
