Beth, I was elated to see your “funky” English/noun,etc pictures, I purchased mine many years ago for my daughters room. We still have the complete set! I used to watch your dad on hgtv, his warmth came through, he was so refreshing and we have a lot in common, I’m Irish and my husband is first generation Italian, on his dad’s side. I had a wonderful mother in law, family from Parma, who was not only a sensational cook but equally adept as a baker, who taught me to love the whole process of making a meal for family.

I love that you brought the oils in the gilded frames in to add warmth and beauty! I just think ironstone dishes hung on white walls is so very beautiful! I did an entire wall in my formal living room in large ironstone platters-ones with wavy and frilly edges, and that was 10 years ago and I love it to this day. It is so restful, yet interesting to the eye! Your kitchen is stunning! Love all your videos and that URN behind you is just....magnificent!! 👍👍👍☺️

Interesting how tastes are so different from person to person. We completely remodeled our 95 year old Tudor House kitchen and chose custom dark cabinets and Brazilian granite. It's white and clean but definitely not sterile and cold and a side of the kitchen appliances (great to have them donated for you and totally diserved) it looks like a very affordable renovation using existing cabinets and the original layout.
