You can tell from how he communicates that he was raised in a home where he could respectfully express his feelings. Many countries I been to in Africa (mostly East Africa) their adoption is different from US or Canada. Families raise and educate their nieces and nephews all the time without going through any legal process, so, they can help their parents/family later on as well. Children equals assets in some cultures. Anyway I hope Usman does his research before he separate that poor child from his loving parents. There is a big difference between raising your nephew and legally adopting him.

In situations where I have seen this happen, it is a decision both parents and families agree on. It's usually when a family is not financially stable and a rich relative offers to help. And the kids still have relationships with their birth families. This one seems like Usman is forcing it on them

Very true I've raised my niece and I am in France as her parent and she has full communication with her parents. So myself I dont see any problem Usman doing it. It's so cute of him n Kim.
