I finished the series today, I'm from Germany and it astounded me the most, that alone with the "I know XY" "Anna Delvez, XY told me about you" she made that much money. Here in Germany it would've never worked out. I doesn't matter who you are or who you know, if you don't show legit paperwork/finances, you're out. I don't know. I doubt she's very careful spending her money. As you mentioned, she rents a $4000-a-month apartment among other gaudy lifestyle choices.
