In an exclusive interview with Forbes, the fake German heiress known as Anna Delvey discusses her lucrative art career and her new reality series.
Anna Sorokin, the fake German heiress known as Anna Delvey who was convicted of fraud and was accused of scamming her way through elite New York City circles, will be the subject of a new reality show, which will be filmed while she’s on house arrest as her immigration case plays out.
Called Delvey’s Dinner Club, the series will film inside Sorokin’s East Village apartment-where she has been living since October, when she was released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody in New York- according to a press release.
Sorokin will host dinner parties at her home, where “actors, musicians, founders, socialites, journalists and other esteemed guests” will eat around “a private-chef catered table” for “candid conversations where no topic is off-limits,” and will also feature interviews with Sorokin and her guests.

Anna is a reflection of our societies values and how the powers that be are structured. Her whole psychology and personality feels like a mirror. I think she is very authentic. I think fame will bite her back in the end, eventually. You control the media until the media starts controlling you. She might be seen as some sort of “Robin Hood” hustler today, but one day people will want to see her fail. It happens to every single individual who reaches for the star. It becomes a bargain that no one wins. We humans, for some reason, always, want to see an idol fail, no matter how pure or corrupt they may be.

She'd make an interesting study for a psychologist. She's not at all ashamed or regretful. She talks of making a "mistake" as though it were a genuine mistake like forgetting to pay. She mentions "bad things" happening to someone as though her situation was a blow of misfortune. Her situation is entirely of her own making. She stole what she couldn't afford, lied and cheated. The worst was how she used her best friend and almost ruined that friend's life. Certainly morally wrong. Anna D/S doesn't even come across as a particularly interesting person. I admit though that her story and audacity is astounding and therefore fascinating. The question I would like to ask her is how could she continue to enjoy her stolen lifestyle when people were already pressuring her for payment that she didn't have. E.g in hotels or on holiday. Did she really block this problem out until the point of no return? Or did she actually spend a lot of time contemplating how to wriggle out of the situation?

I just find in outstanding discovering that there are actually thousands of people just like her in the united states whose purpose in life is to reach that high status and position of power and fame above society. For most normal people our sense of worth and fullfilment is based in having family and friends while money is secondary but for these people its like they would rather die than to not have the sootlight on them. The level of narciscims its just crazy. Now its gonna be interesting to hear what the decision of the inmigration court of appeals is. I know how the law is for for non citizens when they commit crimes and deportation is inevitable. There you have the case of theresa giudice s husband who went to jail for defrauding the IRS and was deported and no legal battle saved him. Of course he wasent young and as famous as anna. If she doesnt end up getting deported from the united states i would start to have serious questions about the justice system in the united states. I find it astounding that She did something things wrong and was convicted yet all these media companies are offering jobs and tv documentaries to glamorize and make her even famous and make money out of. I just wrote the same above before I read your comment. 109% right. She would get 2 seconds news in Germany and it would be over! No one would care. She knows all that, that's why she is fighting not only her deportation but 8 felonies convictions! 8! She probably just buying herself time, trying to make money. If she would be deported to Germany last year as planned, she would be working as a cleaning woman, washing public restrooms. That's what she would get with 8 felonies convictions. But thanks to uncle Biden, they released her on bail and home confinement. Well, when situation with Ukraine will be over, Anna Sorokina ( Russian correct pronunciation of her last) will be back in Germany.

Anyone else noticing her body language? She seems a little on edge because she keeps shaking her hands and she talks really fast as though she’s nervous. I’m fascinated by her because I just don’t understand how she pulled off what she did. On the one hand I’m amazed by how everything played out for her and what it says about the concept ‘fake it ‘til you make it’ and at the same time I’m disappointed by all the press and recognition she’s received for being a fraud. What surprises me most is how societies can celebrate DELUSIONS! If a person believes to be morbidly OBESE, but is in fact skinny, we call this an eating disorder. Networks, such as Netflix, even singed a deal with this person when in fact, she should have received medical attention, NOT media attention! Our society doesn't thrive on discernment and logic anymore, but it is rather sinking on the basis of emotionality and shock value.
