@sayla19962 жыл бұрын
I was wondering the same thing. The below is what I wrote in a comment. Melicia you as an African American woman, consistently show favor towards black men and you're biased against black women. I think this is part of your culture for women to accept "Struggle Love"; long term stress from their relationship, for women to walk on eggshells while tolerating extremely hurtful things. In a previous clip, Bilal did something disgraceful. He broke the *ANCIENT LAWS OF HOSPITALITY*. When a guest/traveller arrives to your home, your car must be clean and tidy, your home must be clean. There can't be any structural damage to your home, the ceiling can't be mouldy or falling down in disrepair, the kitchen faucet can't be broken, the carpet can't be dirty etc etc. Shaeeda was exhausted from travelling, probably anxious and nervous as she's a foreigner in a strange country. Bilal didn't even bother to greet her with flowers just a dirty/cluttered van to test her true intentions. Melicia, you didn't consider that disrespectful or breaking boundaries. Shaeeda is to accept rude/disrespectful behaviour from Bilal in the hopes that she will be "rewarded" with love and affection once her loyalty has been tested is *"Struggle Love"*. Shaeeda is not African American and I'm not sure she will tolerate *"Struggle Love"*; unhealthy behaviour from Bilal kinda like a rite of passage that she has to endure in order for Bilal to value her. @Fluffy, I think Melicia as an African American woman was raised with the concept of "struggle love" where stress & turbulence is mistaken for love. Where loved is something that black women must scrape, fight, and suffer for. Where one partner (often the woman) must constantly bear the brunt of the other partner’s actions/inactions. This is a warped image of love that causes long term stress to the person who chooses to stay, and these relationships exist heavily in the African American community. You can see it in the music, movies, tv shows, reality tv, celebrity culture and so many more cultural references. Black women are raised to expect shitty relationships and being treated like bottom of the barrel trash and it's completely normalized.

Melicia as an African American woman, consistently show favor towards black men and she's biased against black women. I think this is part of her culture for women to accept "Struggle Love"; long term stress from their relationship, for women to walk on eggshells while tolerating extremely hurtful things. In a previous clip, Bilal did something disgraceful. He broke the *ANCIENT LAWS OF HOSPITALITY.* When a guest/traveller arrives to your home, your car must be clean and tidy, your home must be clean. Shaeeda is to accept rude/disrespectful behaviour from Bilal in the hopes that she will be "rewarded" with love and affection once her loyalty has been tested is the central theme of *"Struggle Love".* Shaeeda is not African American and I'm not sure she will tolerate *"Struggle Love";* this unhealthy behaviour from Bilal kinda like a rite of passage that she has to endure in order for Bilal to recognize her value. I think Melicia as an African American woman was raised to accept the concept of "struggle love" where stress & turbulence is mistaken for love.

@MY YT To be honest, he comes across as the typical AA men raised without a father by a single mother. Perhaps his father died or something else happened to him but regardless his the one with "Daddy Issues". Men raised by their fathers are less likely to experience problems of feeling like a victim. Bilal is constantly the "victim", his always wronged by Shaeeda and constantly needs an apologize from her. Studies confirm that fathers block the cycle of victimhood. Boys who lived only with their fathers were less likely to experience problems of feeling like a victim and boys with no fathers are more likely to feel victimized by other children.

He is a narcissist and there’s something wrong with him ! “ I don’t want you to cry but I was hurt”. He is trying to father her it’s so embarrassing . Pulling over and threatening her was way too far and just showed his lack of respect and genuine love for her . She can do so much better . She did push it with that last tap , but she was already very clearly embarrassed .

I was scrolling looking for a comment when someone actually recognized that he is a covert narcissist. If you know YOU know. Once you experience such a demon you can now see it everyone that it is present. That was so triggering to watch because I can see and know exactly why she can’t see the DV that is happening to her because it’s psychological control and the it hasn’t gotten physical yet. He even looks so dead in the face like a typical narc. 🤮 yuck. His word play and word salad with her 🤜🏾. I’m here like “ people are actually agreeing with him 👀. Talk about smear campaign and flying monkeys”.

@@chrissy34787 Wow. It's interesting that you are already making the case they he will inflict domestic violence towards her when she is the first one to put hands on him. She calls it a tap but that's how domestic violence starts. It's a tap and then a hit and then a punch.
@chrissy347872 жыл бұрын
@@juliusbrewster Hi, it’s not an assumption it’s a fact that is right on the screen. Please feel free to do your own research but what you are seeing is domestic violence. I’m afraid that you are only thinking about the battery portion of DV. Battery is the actual physical contact so I believe that is what you are referring to as DV. Many people make that mistake as well. Domestic violence is the title but within it/ labeled within it are the actual acts. Unfortunately, the battery part is the only one that you can bring to the court room as physical proof. Therefore, people associate that as being the title of “domestic violence” when there is actual much more too it. Hope that helps you. Take care. Bye.

Why is no one talking about how manipulative Jibri's mom comes across? Jibri comes to her with an issue, and she side-steps it by playing dumb, minimizing, and switching the focus to him and Miona having issues. If she's a therapist, she needs to develop more self-awareness about how her personal insecurities, beliefs, and wants influence her approach. She really seems to be thinking more about herself.

Its her house, if she doesn't like what she has to say then she should take her bf and leave . She had every right to tell her how to live in her house. She has her hubby's in the house too.

Bilal is ridiculous saying she hit him. It wasn’t a hit. I bet he’s the type to go run and and tell his ex-wife, mom, and sister that Shaeeda struck him and was abusive toward him. He shouldn’t have taken her to the service if he was going to act distant like that. I can guarantee you that other people noticed. She’s trying so hard to make a good impression and he basically ruined the first day for her. If he was that upset, just go home. She’s right when she says he’s acting like he wants to be her dad. He’s so controlling 🤢

Wrong. What she was doing was considering hitting or how they say "play hitting". You lay your hands on your man or woman? Cause I do not!!

That was a hit. It’s on camera.. unless we are redefining what “hit” is… no one should be bopping you across the head like a child , especially your husband. He already told her to stop 🛑 she ignored it. You don’t go hitting people across the head . It’s very belittling

@@MayISpeak no I'm not one of those people. I play fight with my significant other and do things with him we shall not name on youtube.
