I rooted for Kelly sooo hard in Cambodia. Jeremy is definitely deserving, but Kelly had the perfect underdog story and played so well. I love Rob because of his podcast, but I was very young when his season aired and I don't remember it. Cirie's a queen, but I rooted for Parv too much to want her in the finals.

For me, the saddest is still David. One of the greatest personal developments I've ever seen on survivor, and also one of the smartest players in recent years. A much more deserving winner than Adam, in my opinion. Hope to see him back someday.

ugh - I never got why anyone thought he was good. He didn't do aaaaaaaaaaaaaanything that season, other than saving Jessica, which was a horrible move if we're not being results-oriented. I can't think of a move he actually made other than that. People kept SAYING he was a threat, but I could never understand why. As for his transformation, it was really cliche to me. So many times we've seen the timid/nerdy/incapable player grow and be confident by the end of a season (Cirie, Cochran, Fishback, Aubry. now Ryan) and he was such a dramatized version of that that it became overdone and annoying, to me at least. If anyone can think of an actual thing he did other than saying something vague without evidence like "his social/strategic game was so good!", because Adam's game was good too, let me know

David basically controlled the game in the merge. Following the removal of Zeke, he managed to systematically survive key votes without the immunity necklace or the idol, despite being a major threat. He got past Will, Jay, Sunday, and Brett on his way to the final four. At that point, it was up to Ken and Hannah to pick who they wanted to lose to, and Hannah's delusional ass thought she would stand a chance against Adam, so she went with him. David was easily the best player that season, and it's not close. Adam misplayed two idols, misread situations like Jessica vote, and relied almost entirely on his mothers situation to advance his social game (His interactions with Jay and his final tribal performance illustrate this). The difference with David's transformation is that none of the people you mentioned were dislikable, maybe with the exception of Cochran. David went from being a weasel, eccentric, paranoid weirdo to a confident, capable, and deadly player.

I want to add Spencer Bledsoe in that list as well even though he wasn't the day 38 boot. He was on the bottom numerous times and worked hard to stay in the game. Plus, a lot of modern day 38 boots were 4th place finishers and his season would have been a final three (making him the last boot) if Lindsey didn't quit (they had 18 people instead of 20, so one person quitting messed up their numbers).

Terry was certainly not robbed, an over powerful idol and winning almost every immunity, yet his strategy was so painfully awful that he couldn't tempt anyone over to his side and sat back while all his allies got voted out. Thank god he didn't win his way to the end as he had no game from the merge onwards. Cirie was way more screwed.

I disagree on Terry, Cydney, and David. Terry had the Austin, Sally, and Shane votes on lock, and he had the underdog story that could easily sway one more. Cydney was absolutely loathed by Scot and Jason, and probably would not have been voted for on the same grounds as to why Aubry wasn't voted for. Had David not gone home that night, it would've been Adam. But even with Adam's story, David had a great strategic game and a strong growth arc that everyone respected. Adam most likely would not have won in any other combination of the final 6.

Kelly getting voted out always makes me sad, Cambodia was such a great season and the Kelly "Witches' Coven" alliance versus Jeremy's group of sheep was so great, the two of them were such good players, and I only wish that Kelly won in the end. David getting voted out always makes me happy, because I honestly can't remember a single thing he did. His social game was very average, and became friends with like two people early on and just stuck with an alliance throughout the game. Very basic. Strategically, he made wild, horrible moves that randomly turned out in his favor against all odds. The results were good, but the thought process and strategy was trash. People said he was a threat just because he supposedly led an alliance. So did Zeke, but no one's praising him for being a perfect player.

I know why Brett was voted out in Survivor: Samoa. #HisStrategicGame. Similar to Vanessa from #bb17, who became the last member of the jury because of winning 4 HoH’s and 3 POV’s. Also, if you win too many individual and tribal immunity challenges in #Survivor, you get voted out ultimately.

Did Sundra actually had a shot at winning? I know Becky really has not. Would it be good for Yul to just vote out Becky as she is for sure gonna vote for him anyways, same goes for Ozzy with Sundra, or its a show of loyalty to the jury?

Since Ozzy won final immunity challenge and Yul has the idol, they both sure secure a spot at ftc. Now the vote is between Sundra and Becky. At first both Yul and Ozzy agreed that it would be fair spliting the vote between Sundra and Becky, since they were a tight alliance from the beginning, but Yul later told Becky that he's gonna play the idol on her after the votes are read but she said no and it would be fair for her and Sundra to compete in a fire making challenge, which she eventually won.

Puka Keneki Also, if you backstab someone you aren't guaranteed their vote. If Ozzy votes out Sundra, that doesn't mean she's going to thank him the next day and vote for him to win. Same with Becky and Yul. Sure they could but many players do not appreciate being backstabbed the last day.

I mean Sundra had Rebbecca and *maybe) Nathan at best so it be a 5-2-2 with Yul still winning. She had a speech that she was the only one swapped in her original tribe and was targeted right away to make it to final 4 it be more compelling then becky.

Because that's horrible. Survivor was designed to be a social experiment, where all of the power is in the hands of people, not a challenge. Jeff has said multiple times that he wants Survivor to be in the player's hands as much as possible. There's already enough outrage from fans over the amount of idols, production interference, and this horrible final four twist, which was basically an altered version of what you said for a group of four people. The theme of survivor overall is basically that your skills with people dictate how you win, not competitions. Look at Colby and Brad C. as proof.
