Charlotte is a Dutch vocal siren, and has so much depth. She does many collabs now as well. Recently with the symphonic metal queen Simone and also Mykur in a beautiful video/song from the new Epica Alchemy Project EP. More Charlotte anytime!

Thank you for this one! Charlotte is a great hard working artist. Her first solo concert last autumn was fabulous. Check out the live vids from this concert and live performances on YT. Songs you may want to listen to: Victor, Human to Ruin, Afkicken (Dutch for: rehab/cold turkey - and a fantastic music video), Toxic, Lizzie (these two with Alissa W-G), Superhuman, Masterpiece (not any particular order). Glad you enjoyed it. I have to admit I was torn between this intimate version, and the longer live version with Timo Somers on guitar which is beautiful in a slightly different way. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j2nSdqGVnrSFjbM I know Charlotte is a multi instrumentalist and that is her home studio, but unsure if she does absolutely everything herself. Certainly does the bulk of it if not everything?

On occasions I do have guests or collaborators with the songs but in this case I recorded and/or programmed everything. The guitars on this studio version I played on a keyboard and then edited using Shreddage for example (I much prefer Timo Somers myself :)), the drums are made with NI studio drummer, etc. I do outsource mixing and mastering which was done by Guido Aalbers!

Charlotte! ❤ It's great to see her solo work on this channel. She is one of the most authentic artists I've ever listened to, with such a distinct voice, both vocals and composition-wise. It feels like she really spread her wings after leaving Delain. Thanks for the reaction!

Charlotte is a really special talent. Don't miss her duet with Tommy Karevik in "Under Grey Skies" (Kamelot), live version from I am the Empire. She's one of the few singers that I think reach Floor levels of emotion.

Thank you for paying attention to Charlotte Wessels. She is more than just her singer role within Delain. This song and the message of "Soft Revolution", wanting to make small steady changes is so much more loving than going for your own wishes at the expense of the opponent through war. I can so embrace her approach to problems. I can highly recommend this and other songs from her debut alben "Tales from six feet under".
