I never thought they would ever acknowledge Robocop 2 and 3. In fact it’s surprising they even had this game take place between 2 and 3. Though I wonder why the heck would Ocp even keep the Robocop 2 body after all the stuff Cain did in the second movie? Like what the heck did the old man expect? Did he seriously think that people would be happy to see the same Robocop model that not too long ago not only had a fight with Robocop but also gunned down a bunch of people. There’s also the fact that Im positive people know that the last guy who was controlling Robocop 2 was Cain. No wonder Ocp was practically gone by the time of the third movie. This was a stupid move even for them

"Robocop 2" isn't a robot with a brain inside, it's an "urban pacification program," like the original Robocop was (in "Prime Directives" there's a copy of Robocop, but with a black cop, a friend and partner of Alex). That's why OCP had a department called "Security Concepts."
