Yup... My ex husband stayed out all night one night which he'd never done before. We were supposed to go shopping that morning with my mum for our new baby's Christmas presents. I had to tell mum I didn't know when I could get there because he was out in my car and not responding. Finally he came home and went to bed so I went to meet mum. The whole time he was messaging me telling me how sick he felt and all this crap. When I got home I put our baby's presents together alone... finally he came out of the bedroom and I noticed the hickies. He was so entitled about the whole thing. Apparently he should be able to go and get what he wants, that I shouldn't be upset and had no right to be... never mind the fact that his wife and 4 month old baby needed his help. I suggested counselling and he moved overseas instead. Me and bubs have been so much better off without him.

My cheating ex left 8 years ago, and I haven't missed him at all. The whole 15 years we were married, he spent a lot of time with his coworker (we're just friends! You're paranoid!), because "she needed help with getting her car fixed and house repairs". Meanwhile, my truck needed repairs but he told me to take it to a shop and spend my own $$ to fix it. Of course when he left me he moved into "we're just friends!" house, still telling me there was nothing going on. Then he finally admitted to cheating, but blamed it all on me because I "didn't put out" so he had to go elsewhere to get his needs met.🙄 Immediately after our divorce was final, he dumped her and married a new chick who was 12 years younger than him. That marriage lasted less than a year. She was his fifth wife, and a teacher who taught deaf children. I wish I could have met her as I'm sure she's a lovely person. I got along great with his first wife.

12:09 I was a bartender at Hooters in SF on the wharf (now closed) for 1.5 years. I got ENDLESS receipts like this. Men would leave me their room keys (we were very close to a lot of hotels) and the times their significant others would be away. It really messed me up. It left me feeling like all men were scum and it took me a couple of years of working in a very dive dive bar where a lot of fishermen were regulars to get over this experience. The fishermen were very rough around the edges and absolute gems. I loved that bar, it was my favorite place I worked in SF, and those men were so lovely. Salt of the earth over money every day.

However, they will someone make it like it was your fault they cheated. The solution: Never cry or beg or ask how could they do this? When I was about 22, I was seeing a guy unofficially for a few months bc I did not want to be in a relationship. I thought how cool he was so understanding. That was until one night we went to a Halloween party together. Later that night, he was laying back on a tree and I had my head in his lap. Well this girl starts walking up whom I didn’t know. I thought it strange so I asked ‘who the eff are you?’ She was silent but my date said that’s his gf!! He wasn’t even trying to get up but I never moved so quickly in my life. I was mortified! What I thought was him being understanding about me not wanting to get into another relationship was me saving him from admitting he was a cheater! It never crossed my mind he was in a relationship since I had stayed at his house many times and nothing was ever hidden in public or around friends. Maybe they had an open relationship but I didn’t stick around to find out. I make sure to ask more questions now. 😭

A few years ago we caught our neighbor sneaking his kid’s mom into his house when his fiancée was on business trips. We taped our security camera video screenshots all over their front door, early the morning she came home once. We shared a porch, as we lived in a duplex (two family home; two separate houses, inaccessible between each other) so we didn’t even have to reposition the cameras. Also put videos of their behavior on a USB stick and put that with the pics. She moved out that day 😅
