Exactly. She will need to get her GED as early as possible (CA and PA force you to wait until you are 2 months from turning 18), and then either drop out and run away, file for emancipation, or sit tight until 18.

Story 1: She has bullies at school and parents who just don’t give a shit. I feel so bad for Op. I really hope she can save enough money as soon as she turns 18. These parents seem like nasty people.

Story 1: man this brought me back. I was tormented at school from first grade till the end of 11th grade on a daily basis. It was verbally, physically and emotionally. Being male and a bit of a gentle giant, no one cared to help me and it went on and on. It only began to ebb and finally stop once I couldn't take it anymore and literally threw one guy across a room and chased down another guy in track, leaving him shaking in fright. I was furious but never lost control and never hurt anyone. This was not long after Columbine, so naturally being a loner after everything I was seen as a danger by the teachers. I could only conclude in the end that it must be something about me that led to what was happening. No one wanted to help and even when I went to different schools it didn't stop. I recognize today that I am still somewhat broken, but in a non-obvious (to others) way. I love other people. Helping others has become my purpose in life because I need a purpose, and I despise myself so much. I realized that I will likely never be good enough, but that I can still be good. That is why I currently live a life of service, helping other people every day to the best of my ability. I advise op to not be like me. You deserve happiness and to live a good life. Do what is right and don't concern yourself with what those that don't care about you think. You were right to take action. The fact that your bullies are staying away now is evidence of that.

Story 1: I hope OP gets away from her so called life as soon as possible once she turns 18, who needs enemies with parents like them? I would also suggest OP to cut all contacts with her parents and to tell her friends about the abuse so that they could hopefully help her.

Story 1: Op should go public. The people in towns like this are obsessed with Facebook. Make a post detailing EVERYTHING, from the bullying, to defending yourself, to the fact that your parents refuse to listen to you. If they care about their reputation so much, publicly paint them as shitty parents. That'll either make them listen to you, or show everyone exactly what kind of people they are. Either way, it's a win for OP.

Story 1) Talk to your school counselor and your friends. You are a fool if you feel embarrassed by being abused and neglected. Make a binder with dates and witnesses of the bulling. Odds are the bully will not have many people backing her up. It also will be added to a report. The principal can ignore verbal complaints. A filed document with 3+ witnessed events stands up in court. As for your parents, text your dad that you would like to have a 1 on 1 with him. Ask your dad how he would protect his reputation if he was bullied. Tell him people at school have been calling you and affair baby. They say mom cheated.
@Mery11198 күн бұрын
Did you even bother to read the whole story??? I doubt so. OP has clearly stated the school counselor is not to be trusted either, since she's so useless at her job. Also, schools don't give a shit to students getting bullied, so forget about gathering evidence/witnesses.

I call BS on zero tolerance policy because the victims are trying to prevent from getting a traumatic brain injury and another mental health episode. I hate when parents threatened to cancel a birthday to discipline the child since can always be parents like that. There will be other milestone birthdays like the 18th birthday and the 21st birthday and so on. I think OP in that story should be able to shame the parents in the future. She would say oh I would love to have known what a sweet 16 would be like but my parents punished me for defending myself against the bully and I did mention about the bully from before but they chose to ignore me. I hope she is never going to be there for their milestone birthdays.

Story 2: It's just amazing that the guy didn't find out his wife's cause of death until after the autopsy, yet somehow just knew that his no-good son was responsible for her death the moment he walked in the door, with her still lying there with the cops surrounding her body. Yes, that makes perfect sense.
